Agreed. It's nice to see artists who have a polished act performing. Those guys haven't changed a bit, and I'm glad. Did you notice how little the crowd reacted to their performance, during and after? Whatever, what did they want? Freakin' Nickelback, or Good Charlotte. PS. That Yeah Yeah Yeah performance suuuuuuuuucked.
The Beastie Boys were ill! They rocked the house. Funny story I read: During rehersals, the Beasties were joking about calling their album "Still Doin' It." Eminem shows up and says to them that it's great that after all these years, they're "still doin' it." They start to laugh at the coincidence, but before they could explain, Eminem stormed off thinking that they were laughing at him. Jackass.
The best skit of the night, and really the only one worth mentioning, was the opening one with Stiller, Vaughn, and Jackson. I laughed pretty hard when he included 'The Fast and the Furious' as part of a new gay explosion.
DAMN! I forgot they were on that show. I just tuned in to see the fuss about Ms. Lohan. ARRGGG. Hopefully they'll re-run it.
MTV plays their crap over a million times. Their awards shows are some of the worst. I would bet money that it will be replayed over and over and over and........

OK, I'm watching the re-run right now... Man, this is lame. So far, the only time I've so much as cracked a smile was during Will Farrell's "interviews". The Beastie Boys were great. The Yeah Yeah Yeah's sucked sucked sucked. The "playful banter" between the presenters is contrived and awkward...and not funny. They kept showing eminem dressed up as Axle Rose, so I thought that would at least be funny. Nope, not funny. Lame. I'm changing the channel.
