You know who would want Lin? D'antoni. If the Lakers keep D'antoni, that may be the best trade option. Nash can't play many minutes. Marshall... isn't ready to be even a primary backup in the NBA. Farmar is a decent backup. Lin has proven himself in D'antoni's system. It's the perfect fit for him.
I don't know if we will ever be able to trade Lin, but if we do, I will certainly be cheering. Before the playoffs, I was like "meh" about Lin and part of me still believed he was the X-factor towards winning. Now, I just hate him so much and just want him gone, gone, GONE.
No NBA resource covers NBA Playoff stats so I can't tell you if Lin has been playing good or bad because I can't see. What is he averaging? The internet literally doesn't tell me. No NBA[dot]com, No ESPN or ESPN Go, no RotoWorld. There is no stats for the playoffs via Google front page for any player. Do people watch this sport or?
So yes Lin lost us game 4, can't defend what he did. But last time I checked we're down 3-1. We've lost 3 games. So we're cool now with losing so long as it isn't Lin's fault, but we're only going to get all bat ***** crazy about games Lin loses. Don't forget Games 1 and 2 people. They were both very winnable games as well.
His contract is only 1 year. It is far from toxic. This is the type of nonsense Clutch should call out if he is going to call out the other side of the Lin nonsense.
I read on TDS that Pat Beverley sat out practice today due to illness. (Sound familiar?) If he weren't able to play tomorrow, McHale would really be in a predicament ........
What's TDS? Is that like TMZ? From McHale's last press conference, seems like he's given up so will probably start Lin if Bev is injured. If McHale was creative, he might consider Harden at the 1 and Daniels at the 2.
Trade Offer I'm currently craving mustard on my ham sandwich, quick someone get Murray and tell him to get me a few packets of French's mustard and Lin is off the books.
