lin is still learning as pg and i'm sure since he is learning still ways to go in learning how to manage a team and game so there are going to be broken plays, harden has turned a ton of them into pts and with all the 3's the lakers hit it wouldn't have been as close without hardens points scored.
Yea that article is just as wrong as the OP. Do yourself a favor and read HMMMMM's posts. He tracks this stuff extensively and knows what he is talking about. This is a manufactured controversy.
I have come to realize that after being a fan of Lin, manufacturing controversy is number 2 on the list of some Lin fans favorite things to do.
Harden looks like he's pissed that Lin thinks he should be running plays at the end of the game and he got into his position. We lost for a lot of reasons, but Lin with the ball in his hand in a pressure situation is a mistake. Especially when you have Harden.
I could hear and see just about everything from my seat. Jeremy did try to get James's attention twice to no avail.
If it is your team's last possession of the game, you should be paying attention, not off in la la land. Perhaps this wasn't deliberate, just Harden being lazy.
This was posted on Reddit earlier. Please site your sources unless you created that. http://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1q6afl/from_rocketslakers_lin_calls_a_play_harden/
You forget McHale is running him excessive minutes. He played 44 minutes last game. I think he played the entire 2nd half... And how the heck you know he wasn't doing what he was suppose to be doing on that play...? When Harden has the ball and Lin stands in the corner people blame it on McHale. But when Lin has the ball and Harden stands in the corner _ people say he's ignoring the play... WoW...
Yes, Harden should ignore both Coach McHale and Lin and run only ISO plays repeatedly in the fourth quarter from now on.
Some people know only a little about basketball and so they don't realize that just because a coach calls a play from the bench, it's not set in stone. What happens sometimes is that defenses adjust, and at which time it becomes necessary to alter the play or even call a new play. Sometimes the coach will even call a time out because the defense of the other team has adjusted in such a way as to void the play, and so the coach has to call a new play. FYI for all you non-basketball folk out there. Bottom line, late in games especially, players have to pay attention and be aware, because things can change.
Harde will get you over the line and win in those situations more then any player then we have. He tore the Mavs and the Spurs into the pieces in the playoffs. The ball will go to him as he is a boinafide match winner.
These people don't like to hear facts that don't fit into their theory but I appreciate the feedback. Did you have any other observations from the game to share?
keep bumping this. ppl go blind mode and ignore the fact that Parsons' and Lin both wave multiple times and Lin got frustrated in the beginning of the play are just fooling themselves. look who is burying their head in the sand.
what I see is, he is trying to hajack the team to live or die on his ISOs. when he said he try to be kobe, *****r mean no joke.
Ball hogging?.Kobe is a ball hog to but he is a proven winner.Great players are ISO made. You isolatie them and allow them to go to work. That's besides the point. Plus Harden got most of his points on the trtansition and either and 1's or coast to coast layups. Harden isn't ISO 24-7 and is a proven match winner.
Did not you see the Horns chart several pages ago? 2 (SG) should be on the left corner. While you know Harden is on the fight corner. What do you mean by you think Bev and Harden were doing exactly what they were supposed to do?
