    Yeah I agree, but tough call. Favourite sports in Aus strongly differ by state, they should have done that with this map, just like they did in the USA.

    I guess cricket gets #1 in Aus because it is the 2nd most popular sport in all the states while the most popular differs alot.

    New South Wales & Queensland = Rugby League
    Victoria, Northern Territory, South Aus and West Aus = Aussie Rules Football
    Tasmania = Cricket

    Don't know where traditional Rugby (Rugby Union) really sits here.
