I just wish Lin would get better.

I wish he would learn to keep his dribble, not drive into the lane and try to pass while in the air, turn the ball over or try to shoot a fade away that he has no business taking.

He's a smart guy, but I'm not sure if he can be that much better of a player.

He is what he is. Do you really believe that JLin has potential, or is this the ceiling? I'm not sure, tbh.

A lot of those problems are extremely fundamental and taught very early. The fact that he still retains those bad habits tell me that they will be very hard to get rid of, if at all.

Good point. Even when I coach, my pet peeve is when my guard gives up his dribble. It totally exasperates the offense.

Lin does it repeatedly. The whole pivot-around-the-key and throw up a fadeaway airball is another huge concern. It doesn't seem like it's going away any time soon.

It isn't very easy to not understand nothing about double negatives in not just one phrase.

If the leash was a little longer, he would be able to move beyond the three point line instead of stepping on it each time he attempts a 3.

IF Lin has a short leash, he should be smart enough to recognize the fact and exert himself more during said leash. Thus giving him an advantage over players who aren't able to exert themselves as much due to their longer leash.

lmao this thread. love the mchale/lin pic, the others are terrible, but kinda funny.

lin is on a short leash, but with bev out he had a prime oppurtunity to prove himself as a starting pg. i got him on my fantasy teams. he couldnt do it. i thought this was gonna be his best season. oh well, he still gets me 4apg, with some stls and 3s. the stls tho, where the **** did they go? in jan he's at .9 a game! with no bev he cant even rack up steals :( .

I am no LOF or any kind of OF, but I think it's best to leave Lin as the starter instead of Bev.
Our bench will get better with Jeremy, but he is another scoring option along with Harden, Dwight, Chandler and the improving Jones.
He is also a better PG than Bev.
    Go Rockets!

That's a good one. IMO, his leach is shorter because McHale prefers him off the bench.
I agree with your comments. Lin needs to be more aggressive and assertive.
I do feel that Harden will have to take up the PG/SG role when Bev starts, since Bev is not a good playmaker.
I like the effort and energy that Bev brings to the team.
    Go Rockets!
