It's a Jeremy Lin fan site. Why are you posting that here? Those articles are laughable and contain no more factual information that the many post on CF that quote made up facts based off of wishful thinking. Again I'll ask, why would you post that here?
That one. So full of awesome that I let out a brief laugh and now people are staring at me in my office. I have a mental image of Harden saying to himself, "Alright dangit. Enough of this sharing the ball crap. I need mine and I need it now, wins be damned."
Interesting Point For now, I think McHale is looking to improve the ball movement to get his 3pt shooters more open shots . There is no guarantee that he will stick with this approach. It will depend on how they finish out the month of January. If they get 9-11 wins for the month, then he might just continue this way and let Lin get the team into a flow with Harden finishing things up at crunch time. The upcoming games against OKC, Portland, Memphis and Dallas will determine how Houston will approach the second half of the season.
I guess they said that when thinking about the actual payment in the third year which would relate to them if they accepted Houston's offer.
If Lin get 16-18 pts & 8 assists a game AND the Rockets keep winning, then he has a strong case to be a starter
No way he's putting up those numbers. He's a fourth option. And quite frankly he probably wouldn't put up 18 and 8 consistently even if he was the second option. Lin is definitely capable of being the starter, but will be back to the bench once Bev returns because the bench needs a consistent threat to score.
