This pillow fight between these LOF and LOFH was entertaining at the beginning. Now it gets more and more outlandishly silly and boring by day. You girls really need to start trying to figure out better things to do.

last game against wizards is a perfect example to show Lin's "invisible" impact on the team, that is his style of PG play can bring the whole team in rhythm. for example offense start with a PNR, drive, kick out, 3p not open? Dwright is already inside deep when the PNR and spot up shooter attract most of the attention and just lob to him for a simple post move finish. or it start with a sideline pinch down, or a Horn. always well organized man/ball movement and there is always something in the defense to exploit because these screen and cut actions are keep going with Lin playing the PG.

when Lin out for a rest and since AB haven't got as good penetration, the wizards' defense is much easier to cover rocket's offense, so they get stops and attack us with fast break and transition, they start to get into their rhythm, wall start to heat up. then Harden and Howard start to take over. problem is their offense is too simple and lack of man/ball movement. with less movement the rhythm built before is lost and other guys' body get cold, the defense start to drop, guys are always half step slower because the heat is not there and the stars are tired. that's how they lost a 25pts lead.

in this season the team try to have Harden play PG for but I can see it's not there. he is a very good scorer and can make some good passes here and there but that's it, nothing more nothing less. his instinct is always score first so when he is driving even some guys are open, most of the time he wont kick out because he trust himself more especially he is so good at drawing fouls. so although he got good numbers, other guys are not in rhythm and cold footed, hence the defense is weak and those late game collapse are actually foreseeable. he is not the guy to blame because he is what he is, the coaching staff made the decision and they have to take the responsibility, and it's their job to revert it and get back to what worked before and make it work again.

When everyone is involved in the offence there is greater defensive intensity. There, I summarised it for you.

I like Lin in the 6th man role, and we need Bev starting for the sake of perimeter D.

Notice how well the bench unit played with Jeremy last night. Just a much more flowing offense if you sub Brooks for Lin or play Lin next to Brooks.

Brooks has done a superb job given his expectations but in this offense he's not someone you can rely on to force the action with. He's a better off the ball offensive guard.

The #1 team need for Jeremy Lin is for him to provide a sixth man off the bench. Trying to be Steve Nash with the starting unit just isn't his destiny folks.

When Lin gets stuck, the other Rockets should go to the other side of the court so he makes a Turnover. The more turnovers he makes the more quick he'll realize that he's not meant for the NBA.

I do like Lin though. A lot. I think he would be great in Europe or China. He's a pretty good player. Just fragile. Not for the NBA really.

    Ok wut?
Lin is clearly good enough to play in the NBA.
He's just not good enough to be a starter.

you have no idea what you're talking about if you think he belongs in the NBA. Did you see the turnover that he made last game?

I agree with you that he does not belong in the NBA.

He just made 3 turnovers last game. In order to qualify he has to make at least 5 turnovers on this team.

A player that doesn't belong in the NBA doesn't make the highlight plays that Jeremy makes on a somewhat regular basis. When he's got his confidence going he's a good scorer and great penetrating guard. You can't just judge him by his lows, you have to factor in the highs as well.

That being said, he's been trending down since the return from injury. It was nice to see some spark from him in the majority of the game last night.
