they don't run any P&R for him, i don't know what's the reason, mchale, dwight or lin just being passive. he only had one P&R play against the hawks, that's terrible. IMO, he is an elite P&R ball handler.
He shut down jeff teague and continues to play solid D. Can't ask much more from him. It wasn't his fault the Rockets lost
true. this is about Lin and not the fanbase. comets win and typical loh have been here since day one with Lin on board. It's okay to have an opinion. But to mock other people who have differing opinions is low and dirty
Derrick Fisher is a good PG, but never top 15. How many championships does he have? obvously the people who are gainst Lin will leave that out of the picture.
Dragic is great, would love to have him as a Rocket. but at this point, you're crying over spilt milk and it was Dragic that left the Rockets. he made that choice.
I don't think beverley is a starting NBA PG in this league. I don't think any NBA team would want him starting in the NBA. Lin has shown that he is capable of being a starting NBA point guard. I know, it's hard for you to believe that.
Lin has to make sacrifices for this team. As he should. We know what he can do when he's the number one option, its been well documented/when James has been out, but Harden is an elite scorer. Things have to and will run through him if the team wants to succeed deep in the playoffs. Lin is the player that has to adjust his game. He's going through a rough patch right now, but all players do at some point. All this LOF/LOH/LMAOROFL crap is just magnified because everyone on both sides is so keen to spite each other for taking an opposing viewpoint.
so now you get frustrated when they don't see your opinions as fact? please GTFO if you cant be at least civil with people with other opinions
Lin is just being too timid. He doesn't want to drive and his 3s or shots aren't falling like before his injury this season. he hesitates a lot. he drives without a clue and he either stops or jumps in the air without a cue what he should do next. He needs a plan or idk a better court vision. how many TO does he has to make to figure that out. its not just once or twice but a lot of time he passes to the opponent right on their hands. Idk i wish or hope he had already figure things out. he should know his weakness and strengths. he should drive with a vision on who might he pass the ball in case he isn't able to get all the way in. or just try practicing lobbing to Howard. i haven't seen any or just 1 or 2 lobs to Howard. or just get fire up,get a tech or idk something. He is just too nice a guy and refs not giving him anything. other guards get hype coz they think Lin is weak or is not a good defender. Just the same way they take advantage of harden's lack of defense. some times u see lin pumped but not consistent enough. he just looks lost lately. :/ and McHale he has no clue what he is doing sometimes. he cant just let the players ball with no set plays. You don't see anything after a time out. Just same kinda play.
LoF's are not people with opinions. They are obsessive Lin fanatics. Why should I be civil if a guest comes over and takes a dump in the living room? If they leave their Lin bias at the door and talk ROCKETS ball, then I will welcome them with open arms. Otherwise, they are the ones that need to GTFO. This is a ROCKETS forum and not a LIN forum. This cannot be stressed enough to you idiots.
it seems like the LOH are the fanatics. most fans of lin seem to acknowledge his weaknesses which is pretty fair overall. "why should i be civil if a guest takes a dump in the living room? WTH? how is this related to any Lin discussion. If you don't like the opinion of some people, you can simply ignore. Name calling especially when Lin is on the rockets is divisive and counter productive to a rockets board. It seems that the people with agendas have their biases. It prettty evident. Lin can't win. He plays good defense, you still criticize him. He scores 30 points, and you criticize him. It's funny that the people who are obsessed with Lin the most are the typical trolls that bash Lin.
now you are sounding ridiculous. I am not going to listen to your assertions. They are just your assertions. It doesn't mean its true. If you say the sun comes up in the morning, that would be a fact. To say that Jeremy Lin is an average Player in the NBA, is not complete fact. it's more subjective and not completely set in stone.
if You watch the clip you can see Lin in fact did only get one steal and one block 1. play he clearly blocks the ball 2. Lin didn't touch that ball. He defended really well closed and contested the shot. But he didn't block it. you can see the ball. it didn't change in direction either. that was just an air-ball. 3. Lin did block the pass but thats not a block and it doesn't count. He just deflected the ball out of bounce. block its only count when the player is shooting. and a steal only counts if the get possession of the ball after the deflection. 4. the drive is well defended but if u look closer Lin didn't deflect the ball. It was Howard, idk the LAL guard's name but he was passing and it hit Howard's hand.Lin tried to grab the loose ball but he didnt. idk if they gave howard the steal but that was because of him and Harden grabbed it. 5. that shot was just completely off. idk where u got ur video from but its too low too tell. if u want i can get a better quality and you will see Lin didn't touch the ball. it was just a quick horrible brick. and Lin did defended well. i think marshall is his name, the one D'antoni compare to Linsanity. 6. that is a steal so 1 block and 1 steal idk why ur so upset maybe u should have brought out the drives in which Lin didnt get a foul call. but Lin did get only 1 and 1 or in these clips u showed u can only see 1s and 1b
I said nothing about Jeremy Lin is elite basketball wise. That is a fact no matter how bad it hurts some of your feelings
Hey idiot... since it is obvious you lack reading comprehension, let me make this extremely easy for you: 1. Where did I criticize him for his D? Find me a single post of mine in the past 2-3 months where I have even talked about his D. Compared to the other players, I feel Lin has played pretty good D. Is it lock down quality? No, but I never expected it to be. 2. Where did I criticize him for scoring 30 points? Find me a single point where I ever made fun of him for scoring 30 points? You can't because you are just mouthing off like the loser you LoF's are. 3. I don't bash Lin very often. Most LoF's are just overly sensitive ass hats who get their panties twisted over ever perceived slight. It's not my job or care to sugar coat crap for them, not with the crap they bring to this forum day in, day out. 4. The dump rebuttal from you is hilarious. Do you not know what an analogy is? I am comparing LoF's and their desperate Lin arguments as well as their so-called opinions (not really opinions as they are no where grounded in reality) as the equivalent of a mongrel taking a crap on the living room rug. As for my thoughts on Lin, though I have expressed it concisely multiple times, let me try again just for you (feel special?). I consider a Lin an average to above average player. He shows flashes, but he also shows a ton of hesitation, passiveness, and just general cluelessness. Like that shot that was suppose to be a 3PT but he forgot to check his foot? That should never happen! You know you need a three, bloody make sure what you are shooting is a three! The is a hardworking kid with his own skills and because of that, I believe he could turn out special one day. Do I believe he will, no. Yet, I won't deny the possibility that he may. However, he is the 4th option on our team at best and definitely not someone we are looking to waste time trying to develop since we already have a star (a REAL star) by the name of Harden and who largely makes Lin redundant in the starting lineup. The fact is, regardless how upsetting it is for LoF's, Lin is not one of our essential core players going into the future. That is Harden, Howard, and if his health holds and his contract value does not skyrocket, Parsons. Lin is replaceable as is everyone else on our team. That is the truth.
No it's not. It's not a fact that Jeremy is just an average NBA player. I have my opinions, and i'm sticking to it. you can have yours. But those opinions aren't fact. I already know that you think Jeremy Lin will always be an average NBA guard. It yours to have. but it's not fact. It's not yet proven in the league. until Jeremy proves to us that he's just a john Salmons of the NBA, then you will sound ridiculous trumpeting your ambitious statements
You should recall this tirade the next time you're offering your opinions on Bev ("He makes no difference to this team," "The Rockets miss Parsons, but not Bev") as though they are fact.
