Agree. This team would be harder to stop if you have a triple threat (pg, sg,c)
    that can score ala (parker,ginobli,duncan)

We can have a great team. Mch or another coach just has to put them in a postion to succeed to maximize the 3 headed monster.

Perhaps I am missing somthing, but I have not hard of or seen any acknoledgement from any credible source that the Rockets were trying to get Paul. BTW when Popovitch wanted to bring Wade "to see the city ofSan Antonio" Parker told POP that if he comes I go. Tony said that in an interview. People have feelings and if Lin believed the rumor that they were actively recruiting Paul, I feel that he would be as angry as Parker was and feel that he is not truely wanted. Its sort of like finding out that your job is being advertised from friends and not your boss.

The Lakers should be going after him. In 2 years, there will be no Nash, and Kobe & Gasol will be too old. They will be a wasteland of talent unless they sign some good players like Lin who should be a free agent unless Les wants him stay at all cost. Lakers and Kobe are popular in Asia. So Lin will fill some of that shoe when Kobe retires. So it makes sense bb wise and business wise for Lakers to covet Lin's service.

Lin 3 point stats since all star:

    46 of 118 (38.9%)

Enough of a sample size? Those of you dreaming, welcome back to Earth. Those of you hating, go back to LA.

He will fit with this team with all the athletic wings and young guys. Raptors should trade Gay away if this happens, so there will be no more ball dominant iso guys there. Lin can bring his up tempo attack to that system and they will make playoff the first year he is there.

His head is on right - he seems to be a team player doing what is asked of him and playing to the best of his ability while not pouting or causing any player-coach or player-player drama.

Keep up the great work - mega-speed, slashing skills to the basket, and now great FG%.......awesome. I love that he dribbles the lane like nash and rarely gets up in the air with nowhere to go/pass.

    Stay healthy and classy!

How was it important to bring Lin stats last year?that's already a garbage to measures player efficiency this season, last year was history, why not just stick w/ the last 8 games and go from there?

If contending teams mean playoff bound, then teams like Lakers when Nash is gone, Minnesota to compete with Ruby (as great a pg he is, he really can't shoot and score and his shooting % has declined steadily) if they want to get to next level, the Spurs when Ginobli retires as 6th man and then take over Parker when he retires, Indiana to replace Hill as he is just average pg, Orlando to replace Nelson as the Magic with Oladipo, Vucevic & Lin will be playoff bound.

I don't think we've seen the best of Lin yet. I'd love to see him given some freedom (including not making him feel bad for occasional mistakes) -- under D'Antoni or Pop.

Eww get Rondo away from this team. Can't shoot, can't run an offense and his attitude problems are intolerable.

Current contract is for 3 years. The 4th is a Team Option.

Lin is playing well so far and if Beverly continues to stink, then Im ok with Lin starting and being more aggressive.

I want Linsanity from New York. I want that guy. If that guy had been playing for the rockets I don't think anybody would complain. Give me Linsanity and I will never criticize him again.

You are mistaken. We all make mistakes. Accept it and move on already. Don't believe everything you read on CF or so-called experts. There is no team option on Lin.

Are you serious? You think 5 months ago, everyone was a completely different player? People can improve over a few months of training camp, but realistically their game performance is either a gradual increase or decrease through several seasons.

Lins shotting statistics over the past 8 months is much more substantial than all the conjecture and day dreaming going on in this thread.
