i don't see anything about him not being happy. these are like the last three interviews i've heard last night. One, the player of the game on csn. two, locker room and now this one.

As long as he is getting the same usual minutes, it shouldn't be a biggie. I do think Bev is getting way too many minutes that could go to actual 3 point shooters like garcia and casspi. 34% all fg gives rafer alston a heart attack.

Exactly, why on earth would anyone want to be with a team that cut him once, signs him and then tries to trade him. They fooled him once with promises, he's too smart to give them another chance to stick it to him.

Well, Mac is riding Harden just as much as D'Antoni was riding Lin "like a Secretariat"; that is why I am saying I would not be surprised if Harden gets injured the way he's being played. I also think it's bad not playing bench players at least several minutes per game, to keep them motivated.

And he will get DWill's or JWall's money with better stats and will take his team to the playoff in the first year.

I also think Lin likes playing unselfish, team basketball. The team that will allow him (and his teammates) to play this way will also have the upper hand in recruitment when he is a free agent. He has turned down big endorsement dollars before, so I think style of play will be a greater factor for him than dollars.

No, Bev didn't have a 30+ points game yet.

He plays like young Parker before Popovich schooled him. People forget how erratic Parker was early in his career.

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocke...similarites-with-lin-at-same-stage-of-career/

Harden plays like Ginobli, but he substitutes drawing the foul instead of circus shots.

Lin is mini-Parker with a dash of Ginobli, Harden is Ginobli on roids with a dash of Pierce. Its basically how Lebron is Pippen on roids with a dash of Magic, while Wade is a knockoff MJ with a dash of Iverson.

I love how exploring options to try to get Chris Paul is somehow fooling him and breaking a promise.

Did they really sit him down and promise him that we will never try to upgrade our team at his position as long as he is here? Not a freaking chance.

And not staying with a team because they cut him? So he should never go to the warriors, mavs, Knicks or Rockets? What about all the teams that didn't even offer him a contract when he was a free agent? Sounds like a slap in the face that no one recognized that talent.

I guess I really shouldn't be surprised that after a game like last night and the way he's been playing so far this season people still aren't happy. Gotta be a starting, first option player getting 35+ minutes for some fans.

He's going to be a big piece for the Rockets to make a run and some fans don't want to enjoy the ride. Rather play the woe is Jeremy card and contrive crap conspiracy theories as to why things happen.

I blame the coaching staff for not finding a way to "fit" Lin in the starting line-up.

There were plenty of games last year that showed Harden and Lin can work together with the right strategy.

It's part of the job "coaching" to make players fit, and i don't think they did a good job.

LOL. Haters will find any excuse to trade Lin. But if he plays anywhere near this level and with his market value in Asia, Les will fire McHale and possibly Morey is they are not on board to retain him or use him correctly. ;)

I'll be shocked if this streak is sustainable.

Apart from the Clippers game he's a lot more consistent this season BUT I'd like to see him cut down on turnovers and increase his assists.

A player that takes it to the hole so much his definitely liable to turnovers but it's the jumping off the floor with nowhere to go ones that grate me. If he would stop forcing passes and put up a shot instead half his turnover woes would be cut in half.

Even if you miss there's still a chance of a second chance opportunity and the team is less prone to conceding a fast break opportunity. Nothing worse than having 4 high turnover players in the starting lineup.

I don't think that's much of a shocker. Only 5 players in the history of the NBA has sustained a .667 TS% or better playing a minimum of 50 games, and only 25 players have sustained a 3pt% of 45% or better playing a minimum of 50 games and having taken 60 or more 3pta.

    http://www.basketball-reference.com...c5comp=gt&c6mult=1.0&c6stat=&order_by=fg3_pct

We really don't know where his shooting will stabilize, but I wouldn't be shocked if it remains quite good given his shooting performance post ASB last year.

If you're going to be shocked, be a bit more specific please. :)

To get rid of a performing Rocket player contributing to wins is not the act of a true Rocket fan. Perhaps a troll from NY or LA

I hope Lin is traded, because that means that the Rockets are getting a pretty damn good player back. The better Lin and Asik and Jones play, the easier it will be to get a package together to bring in an elite PG (Rondo) or a PF (Aldridge).

Otherwise Lin can continue being one of the best players in the NBA not starting... wish bodes well for the Rockets and Lin.

You'd think after a whole season he'd be smart enough to realize the chances of Asik catching a bounce pass are pretty much nonexistent.

Why the heck you want Lin to leave when he has played great bb since ASB last year? You let your hatred of Lin take over so much that you don't care if he is contributing to Rocket's wins. So who do you suggest we bring in for 5 million a year who can play like Lin does recently? What a true Rocket fan!
