Saw this and thought it would be fun to share. Anyone know Japanese that can translate? Source: http://www.ballineurope.com/us-bask...arden-chandler-parsons-jeremy-lin-manga-4053/
Parsons' mojo with the ladies transcends all language/cultural barriers. Maybe Harden should have waved some dollar bills around.
its an unspoken rule nobody ever talks about. Let it go dude, before this thread devolves into into semi D&D...
I'll go ahead and translate more fully when I get back from work, but the gist of it is that apparently Harden's beard is scary. I am ashamed of my fellow Japanese.
I think the OP frame translates: Harden: "Starting from today, the Rockets will have a special bearded team." Lin: "Wow/really?!?!" Kid: "Harden's beard is really just a bunch of bees!"
Second comics: 1. Harden: "Hey, Parsons. Aren't you the handsome dude? Introduce me to some girls, won't you?" "As for money, I can spend about 70mln bucks in the next five years." 2. Parsons: "Okay!" 3. Caption: "On the day of the group date..." 4. Harden: "Looks like I'm going to have to cut my beard soon (tear)." Girl 1: "Let's go (to the next drinking place)." Girl 2: "That bearded guy's scary." Parsons: "He's a good guy." I can see the name of the manga in the 2nd one - what's the name of the manga in the OP? I'll look for it next time I visit Japan...
I think a lot of people think this way when they first look at manga or anime, but after a while you get used to it. It's just a matter of style over realism that's very prevalent in most Japanese art.
