Lin can go practice this summer on his game but more importantly he needs to post his playoffs stats on a wall and look at them then put Hardens, Parsons, Asiks and Beverley's up next to his and practice even harder. After that he needs to get on his knees and pray. The next day he needs to get up go to bush intercontinental airport fly to Oklahoma City, OK and ask Russell Westbrook for his Nutz back. Then once gets them back he needs to get on his knees again and pray and give thanks. Then he needs to find a way to mentally and emotionally get stronger to play under playoff pressure. After all this he may be able to get his starting point guard spot from Beverley.
Lin was never on the court long enough in his bad games for him to cost the Rox 15 games this season. He got pulled the moment he had a TO or missed 2 straight shots. Look at the 82 game log, dumba$$.
As true Rox fans pointed out: the game Lin didn't play, Rox 2-0, the game Lin played, Rox 0-4 So obviously Rox can go all the way if Lin sit out entire playoffs, thus Lin cost Rox a championship. LOL too funny.
Absolutely! I know I dont post much but I would love every one to make posts based on how they feel the next day.
Don't beat yourself up. It was a great sarcasm thread mocking those who were blaming Lin... it had great potential, but humor is lost on most Lin fans.
Clutch, that's because they don't know what humor is. They have an insecurity complex and are extremely defensive about their favorite player. You could tell me that had lunch with Vernon Maxwell at Lubys or you tried to valet park Rafer Alston's car and I would laugh and get it. We get it, we understand our players, we don't think they are invincible (except for Dream in the 95 playoffs)
Is this thread to imply that if Beverley had started in place of Lin from the beginning of the season we would have won 60 games? Holy cow I've heard some dumb things in my life! Didn't anyone check to see that Bev scored only 8 points tonight on 36% shooting, didn't hit a three, and had ZERO assists? Also he committed four fouls, a few of which were totally unneccesary and which led to free throws? Also Bev missed some rather important defensive rotations and simply could not stop Reggie Jackson? Wow. 60 games, huh?
Truth be told, the real goat in this series was Harden. In all games but one Harden played well below his season average in shooting percentage, free throw percentage, turnovers, assists, and trips to the line. Harden took 22 shots tonight (and missed 15 of them), people, Lin took only four. The onus is on Harden...big turnovers down the stretch, big missed free throws, couldn't penetrate the OKC defense, shooting around 33% from the field for the series. I guess we need to trade Harden... Remember those three games Harden sat out near the end of the season and Lin became superman. The Rox were scoring like 120 per game and not only beat the Spurs, but won three big games in a row. Then when Harden came back it was no ball movement, no body movement, and the Rox lost to teams like Phoenix, LA, almost to Minnesota, etc.
