Great... thought that this was a thread about 6th man of the year award, but obviously someone had to side track again, just like in every other thread...

And about Lin winning the 6th man of the year award, I don't really think he'll win it. Usually the awards go to players with a lot publicity, like JR Smith last year. I guess this "article" is a little bit of publicity about being 6th man and his triple double off the bench certainly helps.

Bev has been out for stretches at a time, so I don't think you can use those exact stats to justify that statement.

if Crawford finishes up around 44-45% he's a lock... to me <42% from the field isn't impressive... I'd like to see what Jeremy avgs when he gets 16 FGAs per game

Right now Lin is playing way too many games as a starter.

Yeah, Crawford's got it unless something drastic happens.

Lin won't win it but is playing really great off the bench.

What happened to the "all Lin fans are Chinese"?

Maybe Jeremy is among a dozen or so "favorites"? Who knows...

Lin has a shot at it, since we have a ton of games left to play.

Of course, there are a number of other players out there who could make their own case for 6th man of the year, but none of them are on a winning team like Crawford or Lin is.

Though, if Westbrook comes back, Reggie Jackson may make a case for himself as well.

How do you know that the article is a LOF if you didn't read it...? Are you also not gonna read any article that says any positive thing about Lin?

Not sure why people are talking about Latino Post since the original article was on Bleacher Report.

I hope he wins, I think Lin is pretty much the 2nd coming of Manu Ginobili: bench player whose absolute peak ranks among the best in the league. Jamal Crawford is consistently good but I think Lin's ability to make plays for others as well as score by himself puts him a notch above Crawford. Plus there's the "fan factor" 6th men tend to be crowd favorites and Lin definitely has that covered.

Hopefully Bev comes back soon so Lin can start being the 6th dude again.

Google is LOF. Use bing instead if you are a true Houstonian.

Eh. He's had too many off games IMO. If he finishes off the season strong, then maybe.
