Don't be dense, Casey. You're assuming that because of the black communities' criticism of Bush via Katrina that they would react the same way to Bush via Haiti? That is weak logic.
The difference is that neither Kanye nor Combs are political figures, nor does anyone believe that they speak for the Democratic party. I don't remember any liberal being critical of Bush's response to the tsunami in Indonesia, they just shut their traps and donated to the Red Cross.
Those are two entirely difference circumstances with criticisms leveled for entirely different reasons.
Only if Bush would have responded to the Katrina situation as quickly as Obama responded to the Katrina situation..for a while it didn't seem like Bush was going to even respond at all until Kanye opened his mouth. Imo It's a shame that your mind even thinks this way. I'm black and for some strange reason my family voted for Bush the 2nd time including my mom, but after Katrina they will probably never vote for a republican again because of the lack of compassion they showed until after the Kanye comments. The media looping that over and over forced Bush to respond and to become visible in the area and every one knows it.
And rational human beings would be saying, "Wow, Puff Daddy and Kanye West are ****ing idiots. Thank goodness no one takes their ideas on politics seriously."
What is the point of bringing Kanye or Diddy into a discussion about Rush Limbaugh? How are they even relevant?
Good job defending yourself. Oh wait, you just focused on a typographical error. More weaksauce from Casey.
Back to the topic, Rush is a terrible human being. Regardless of one's political opinions, that's an easy call. Of course Obama is politically motivated. He is the leader of the free world. Beyond an obvious moral obligation to help, it is his job.
