Jeremy Lin a Harvard grad buddy. and Lin wasn't drafted.

Lilard was drafted high 5 or 6 so is expected. Now if lilard was a Harvard grad and is undrafted yeah he'll be lilsanity . not cause he's black.

    Haarrvaarrdd!

smh stop pulling anti race card.

Fact: Most knowledable basketball fans (ie non LOF's) already knows he is better than Lin.

No one in there right mind right now would say otherwise.

Yes, he is getting less national recognition, simply cause Lin played for the Knicks last year, but he makes up for it with critical recognition from analysts and fans.

    Stop being a dumbass troll

This thread is so hilarious. It's funny how ignorant and stupid people can be.. Lillard isn't going to get much better because he already has a good jump shot and is 22? These morons needs to come back to this thread in 3 years. If you're this good as a rookie, you're going to get better.

Nothing, he's great. The Rockets usually draft players that are more polished and developed. Can you remember the last project the Rockets drafted? D-Mo was not a project considering his stats in Europe. MKG and Lillard fit the description. Then again, the Rockets might have been after the big man.

    Not many teams aren't.

Lillard single handedly won games for the blazers this year. His offensive game is incredibly advanced for a rookie, and hands down better than what jeremy lin has to offer. You put Damian next to harden you have the best back court in the nba bar none.

Lillard does make his team mates better, if you actually watch the blazers games this year you would see his scoring opens up shots for his teammates. It relieves stress off Aldridge in the post and the blazers overall are playing good basketball.

So yes lillard is much better than lin.

He's taking around 20 shots a game, and shooting about 42% this year. You put him next to Harden, he will have half the stats he's having right now because he's a rookie (or he'll be in D-League, rocket tradition). Remember this team is built around Harden, Harden is the first option. A scoring first PG will not have spectacular numbers next to him.

INSANE. If he stopped playing today, he would still win ROY cause no way in hell Davis can possibly match what this kid has done already.

(Also - I love what he does for my fantasy team... lol).

A score first PG would be perfect next to Harden, who himself is a fantastic playmaker. Imagine Lillard getting half the open looks Lin gets, wow!

Lillard is a scoring pg but he is ranked in the 94th percentile in the NBA in spot up shooting. So all the open threes that jermey bricks lillard would hit. Harden would find him lots of open looks and i assure you if he was playing with james he wouldn't be shooting 42 percent.

Some people feel obligated to post in this thread about Lillard even though they probably haven't even seen him play and have no clue about him. Why? Who knows.

Rondo is so overrated. Replace him with CP3 on the Clippers and they are a lottery team.

Lol. My intentions wasn't to bring out the race, I did that unintentionally. I realize what Lin did was amazing and had skills, luck, ny media, and somewhat race to do with it. But the guy Damian was said by many as not that great or overrated because he went to a school that wasn't all that great at basketball, they played crappy competition. And Lin is still getting media attention, everytime they mention him as linsanity etc , even if he had a bad game. That is why I'm confused. Lilliard still doesn't receive he praise he deserves just like Lin deserved it in his run

God I hope not. That would be depressing as hell...

Having two young PGs breakout in back-to-back years is hella exciting and we should all be rooting for both Kyrie and Lillard. They are good for the league and insanely fun to watch.

Lillard receives plenty of praise from knowledgeable basketball fans, that's a whole lot better than getting hyped by millions that don't even basketball.
