Lil Wayne vs Thunder

    Just read an article specifically about court side seats the other day. The Thunder have 124 court side seats and every single one of them are owned by sponsors of the team, usually in groups of 6. Unlike other NBA teams, the Thunder have no "Hollywood" history so they don't hold any of these tickets for reserve. Many teams--Lakers, Knicks, Bulls, Heat, Celtics--hold 8 or so court side seats to dole out for this reason.

    In order for Lil Wayne (I feel like an idiot calling him this) to receive court side seats to a Thunder game, the Thunder staff would have to ask the sponsors with floor seats if they would like to host the guest. There is no way they could accommodate for Lil Wayne day of, especially at no cost. Not surprising, non-story.
