One of my investors/friends lives in Venice Beach. I hope it doesn't spread that far.

 

I'm not going to convince you on desantis, but what do you think about the incompetent republican policies that resulted in the 2021 texas power crisis.

 

That’s probably the dumbest statement I’ve seen in a while. Florida handles hurricanes quite well actually. Made Texas look incompetent when it comes to hurricanes (or freezes).

Now, Florida had built its infrastructure to withstand hurricanes better over the last several decades. Mostly due to lessons learned, per se. They only get a few a year on average, but I digress.

California has had wild fires for decades and what are they doing? Ignoring the entire firefighting budget? Lol. That’s gross negligence if you ask me.

 

Truthfully, I don't know anything about that.

 

They are starting to turn against their own.

 

see this is where you can't conclude things w/o knowing the full facts. The overall budget for fighting fires has definitely increased over time. This one off cutting of budget could be a mistake, or a sense that the money was reallocated elsewhere. Neither you or I would actually know the reason. I am sure a post mortem would tell.

dude my family in Houston didnt have power for a week in Houston after a category 1 hurricane hit the state. When the ice storm hit Houston a few years ago residents didnt have heating for days and people literally froze to death.

I think the reservoirs in Cali are fairly full after all the rain they had last year.
