Guys, today is a good day. After reading some of the news articles and headlines on certain websites, I've started to think about how good I have it. I have a beautiful wife and awesome kids. I'm more spiritual than I've ever been before. The Rockets are in the playoffs. Our business is doing well. I have a decent job. I'm making a little money in the market even though it’s not the best of time. I have a decent job. What do you guys appreciate about your life? I'm probably going to get some stupid posts. Seriously though, what about you?
I have a wonderful girlfriend who cares about me and treats me the way I care about and treat her. I have two great jobs. I'm leaving for a trip to Vegas and California in 32 days. I have wonderful friends and an outstanding family. I am uber-close to being completely out of credit card debt. I live in a 2500 square foot house with a hot tub, pool table, theatre room and three HDTVs. I've been thinking a lot lately about how lucky I am and how I never want to take my life for granted. My ex's mother is going to lose her long battle with cancer in the next couple of days, so it's made me appreciate things that much more.
Great wife and wonderful son moving to a larger house (from 1700 ft² to 2500 ft²) in Round Rock in 2 weeks Great job that's involved with sports Still able to play soccer at a very competitive level
I am blessed I have my health, although not 100%, but not as bad as other people might have it. I am blessed to have my family, who support my every move and cheer me up to pick myself up. Last and not least, I am blessed with friends who listen to my problems and lend a shoulder and an ear [also an e-mail ear] when I need to let it out. "Hide the chair... hide the chair... pretend we're talkin'... pretend we're talkin'... " macalu, yes... but they don't start threads like these...
Good health for me and my loved ones -- never underestimate that! The fact that I have loved ones. Where I live....what I do. I didn't just lose $0.31 on a Clippers bet.
I have a fantastic 17 month old son I have been fortunate enough to stay home with him and watch him grow for those 17 months My rockets playoff tickets are paid for - this is the first year I got them I've been able to act, direct and sound design shows in the time I've stayed home - and got to work with the Rockets announcer JP on one of them I'm able to live in a modest home that we own with 2 dogs, 2 cats, my boy and my wife. My PS3 and 52" inch TV aren't bad either, but they don't come close to being as good as the rest.

I really had a great life before I got married: Worked from home, no yard, long bike rides on a curvy stretch of road, sci-fi, history channel, CSIs every night, watching Bladerunner whenever, lots of disc golf and I could go on and on and on.... Life after getting married almost two years ago: Absolutely the best thing I have ever done for myself. She truly makes my life so worth living for. She has made the above paragraph (pre-wed) irrelevant to what "life is good" means. Yes, life is now good. Thank you K.
