those aren't deals they're fair market discounts because they're so far out from subways lines (and civilization in general :grin: ) there are exceptions though (ie. world trump tower across from the UN) and if you can get a place facing the river then the open views can be worth it
2nd avenue subway line- are they still building that? i lived on York Ave and 73rd and had no problems with transportation. I used the uptown and crosstown buses...
