This all an good. She broke no laws and may well have been a great teacher... But no one is going to want her to teach at their school and she should have known teaching is not going to work if someone exposes her past. Most folks are not going to want an anal queen teaching little Timmy, not in America.

She would done far better teaching elementary or college level students.

Let me put a different spin on this. What if a teacher and her significant other make a sex tape of her doing the Hathaway just for fun. She has a bad break up and her S.O. post it online to get back at her. Word gets out about the tape then should that teacher be fired and never be able to work again because now she is known for liking anal?

And in today's world, that is a very real possibility. And I'll add this nudge to your spin. It wouldn't have to be anal at all. Just plain old garden variety missionary. Using the same line of reasoning, the woman would never be able to work again as a teacher. No p*rn Flicks involved. Just some play in the bedroom.

One more thought about this before I turn in. Since this the teacher didn't use her real name in p*rn and for that matter parents shouldn't be letting their kids watch p*rn, what if anytime a student brings it up she either denies it or tells the student it is none of their business?

To me it is not a matter of "should", if it were my call, they get to keep their job. From a realistic standpoint there would probably be more sympathy for the teacher, as it was never to be made public, but ultimately I think she loses her job too.

Thinking about this some more, I'd think the all powerful teachers union would be the group representing her case if they really had her back.

I think the strength of that union is so overstated it's that it's no herring but a big fat red tuna at this point.

People complain about the teachers' union, but the truth is that's schools find it difficult to find teachers who can handle the workload competently. If they drastically change working conditions (i.e. "take on the unions"), they just won't have any employees. Most K-12 teachers I know are *this* close to turning in their resignation letters anyway, so they can make more at the local walmart.

Well, they will tell you no adult film star teach little Timmy, period. Other situation like the one you describe is a case by case decision. We just don't want p*rn star to teach our kids. To be honest, as a parent , when it comes to my kid, I probably would not necessarily be against that deep inside.
