The funny thing is when magaTS claim that liberals are dividing the country by injecting race in everything when they are literally the same ones who started the birther movement and questioned whether Obama was even born in America.

the comment was about actual liberals . . . judging from the daily performances of the progressive leftists here in this forum, I think we see daily confirmation of at least the "hateful" part. If we take faulty reasoning into account, I think we might add "corrupt" as well. In doing that, we can add the "immoral" label as well, because these self-righteous so-called progressives fail to exhibit intellectual and epistemic virtue--i.e., they lie, both to others and to themselves.

Finally, I believe that this overall blindness of progressive leftists to see their own faults (or to believe their own lies) leads them to (again) a smug self-righteousness and an overconfidence in their own positions. Anyone following these people is fulfilling the fourth criterion in the thread title: they are being taken in the wrong direction.

 

Is being hateful on a message board stating someone is fascist or is it spamming one thousand posts about how evil a small marginalized groups of people on a NBA team fan message board are?

Can you explain your logical reasoning on the one you chose as more hateful in your own words?

This very thread title is demonizing of 1/3 of the country. If anyone here created a thread that said "Conservatives are evil racists" no one would really get behind that.

What I see happening is that some posters here are adept and knowing how to push certain posters buttons, and they fall into a trap and lose their temper. Then you can say, "see look at hateful they are!"

It feels as useful as “getting to the bottom” of YouTube comments and commenters.

It’s also good to remember, that it’s okay if someone has different views than you, it’s okay for people to have extreme views. In a democratic system people are free express and support whatever points they want…

Honestly I don't think people who are the targets of hate campaigns from the right such as trans people have that luxury to just accept entire ideological groups having a 24/7 hate campaign towards them. I don't think it's easy for those people to come to those conclusions so easily like yourself.

I'm using the term "fascist" quite accurately and have made clear explanations of what I define as fascism mulltiple times. You aren't going to shame me into not saying that term. The only way you can shame me is to show me how my previous definitions are incorrect.
