There’s a button on your remote that changes the channel….

There’s a way to move your mouse to select what you want to view….

Really, the issue is acceptance of homosexuality has become mainstream. This position is unacceptable for some. You aren’t an American so you wouldn’t know how the same tactics were applied against blacks.

Your posting history has gone well past that, which is why less and less people are giving you the benefit of the doubt on here.

the claim that San Bernardino is a significant county in Calif is analogous to
the idea that Don Jr. was a significant member of the Trump 2020 Presidential campaign.

    for the education of ROXRAN

The focal point of California's vast Inland Empire, San Bernardino was brought to its knees by the Great Recession. its emergence as a suburban slum is perhaps America's most tragic story of urban sprawl.

"When the recession hit, San Bernardino’s foreclosure rate was 3.5 times the national average. It was inevitable: Only 46% of San Bernardino’s working-age residents have jobs — the lowest figure in the state
for cities anywhere near its size. And so the statistical landslide built momentum as property and sales taxes fell by more than a third in recent years."

By some measures, San Bernardino keeps getting worse, and more blighted.

"Unlike the explosive push driving people from hollowed-out Rust Belt cities, San Bernardino’s economic implosion is sucking people in: immigrants, parolees, Los Angeles gang members and those
who can’t afford to live anywhere else in California."

That would be like saying flying the American flag means the person flying it agrees with everything the country has done. IT doesn't. The flag for example being flown on the white house could also just stand for showing the world that this country is for you too.

Also, corporations are not being forced to change their logos, they are all choosing to do that.

So when Trump brought out the rainbow flag was he also forcing people to accept them? I just don't think the flag inherently has all these intentions, the default should be assumed about them, that's the business or person flying/wearing it is accepting towards that community. I don't think for example if a Donut shop has a flag on its shop, I don't think it's saying "Accept gay people or don't shop here!" I think its saying "We accept the LGBT community"

I do think that way, I know some religious people feel the way they feel but like I mentioned, I feel sometimes religion is used as a shield to do crappy stuff. From slavery to arranged marriage to yes, pedo stuff, so when people go "Well in their religion..." i just tune it out honestly because religious views change over time which tells me they are open to being flexible when they realize they don't have the majority on their side.

I feel like though it's easy to say this as a straight person. Gay people have had their sexuality challenged and chastised for most of their lives though so in order to change that the thought is that we should celebrate it. Straight people don't need that celebration, everyone expects you to be straight, gay people don't get that privilege, as the poll shows, as history shows.

I think it's a pretty big deal too, its something that transcends race, that transcends species even with how animals can practice it, it's something that billions of people in the world identify with. I don't see an issue celebrating it.

Well, I don't care about jokes, even crude ones. I'm more worried about negative stereotypes leading to further discrimination. Like a groomer narrative that might make a gay teacher move on from teaching because people don't trust him with their kids or something.

I don't know if USA is trying to force Afghanistan or something to have a pride month though. Those countries can remain backwards and let the rest of the world pass them by, that's their choice I guess. If those countries are shamed by USA having a pride month then...F them. It's how we do things over here and if how we do things over here makes them more radical, that's on them. Some of these countries were not even historically christian or muslim or whatever but converted. There's a lot of historical discussion how ancient religions (like Egypt's etc) felt about homosexuality. Some of these other religions are accepting of non-straight people, telling me intolerance towards homosexuality isn't some feature of humanity but is just a feature of Abrahamic religions, which is another discussion for another day.

This will be my last post on this, for now at least, but in the end people should live by the rule that not everything is for them. Pride month isn't for everyone, I wish instead of trying to get rid of it or whatever, that others would just let people celebrate and be happy for who they are and move on.

Corporate Pride has less to do with them trying to force down wokeness on people and more to do with they companies figured that LGBTQ people also spend money and them and their supporters represent a large and affluent market.

15 years ago companies like Target wanted nothing to do with Pride now they not only want to sponsor the Minneapolis Pride Parade they also sell Pride merchandise. The calculation behind these is less rainbow and more green.

Let's see - if liberals get what they want
...transgender people would get to piss in the bathroom they wanted, women could get abortions whenever, rich people would pay more taxes, and it would be harder to get a gun. Clearly that would destroy America to its foundation.

If the right gets what they want - Trump would be president for life, Russia can have the USSR back, rich people would pay no taxes, and hollywood would only cast white men in leading roles.

I feel like the left version of America would be more like Sweden, while the right's version of America would be more like Panem

Every boom since the 1960s has been under a liberal government, every shrinking or downturn a Republican and it has accelerated after that shithole Reagan who was a great talker but a dumb ****er for a President.

To summarize, out of around 1440 female political candidates in Denmark in their 2017 elections, around 860 (60%) could be classified as right wing or left wing based on their algorithmically determined looks.

The percentage was also true of the male candidates.
