Let's assume it is and ask how and why someone would think this simplistic chart would be a rallying cry of truth. What background and thought processes would yield this mindset?

When I was young back in the hippie days, we saw Vietnam as the breakdown of rationality in government where some vague ideals of dictating world events was deemed worthy of sending our friends to slaughter. The burning of the Cuyahoga River in 1969 opened out eyes to the rampant disregard industry had for the environment. I went to a newly integrated High School and saw the false narrative about black kids being different and the race riots over it.

That's how I began to think, that's how I became a liberal. I really don't understand how young people can be sucked in to the FAUX propaganda. I'd like to know.

If I were young right now, my number one concern would be the 1% bringing the quality of life of the average working American down to third world levels by taking all the profit and squeezing all the earned income. I would be about college costs rising faster than inflation and corporate lenders making college students indenture labors. I would be for the US insulating itself from events it cannot control by expanding renewable energy on an national security emergency level. I would seek the spirituality of common morals not exclusionary ones. (Get off my lawn you rednecks! ha)
