You must not be familiar with humor and hyperbole. Levon wishes bad things for you and yours.

spent the weekend watching the Last Waltz with my 4 year old, she has an obsession with female singers, so Joni Mitchell was a big hit, as were the female singers on the weight, strangely she also liked Neil Young's work, damn Levon was a great drummer and a highly underrated singer.

This is the performance of the Last Waltz:

I was watching the making of their 2nd album and they talked about the Staples Singers and had a clip of them singing this song.

Read Levon's biography "This Wheel's on Fire". You'll never look at the Last Waltz the same way again.

i've heard good things about it... apparently there's good reason why everybody hated(s) robbie robertson.

Read it. It's a great book. The Last Waltz was about nothing more than Robbie Robertson taking credit where it wasn't due and trying to set himself up for his post-Band career. Like I said...read the book and you will never look at the Last Waltz the same way again. I still watch the movie for the performances, but that's about the only thing that was real in the picture.
