And plays less D. And takes more bad shots. And doesn't hustle. And stops the ball. And doesn't drive. And pouts more. That's a pretty good deals if you ask me.
Either get on the same page with the rest of the team and play the offense or tell management you want to be traded.
dear tracy, you still got it, your not "tmac" of old, but you can still be that 20/5/5 player in the league. you know what's holding you back? nope not your injury. is it part of it? yea. is it the main reason ur shooting 38% and not helping this team win? no, you got to get aggressive, take better shots, and just attack, get in the post and work your way for points. not everything will come easy like before. just get aggressive. you dont kill ball movement like artest, u just need to get more aggressive, when your aggressive, and yao's playing his game, everything falls into place what you need to realize is artest wasn't brought here to take the load off you, it was for all three to play to the best of their abilites. get yao nearly 18+ shot attempts per night, get yourself 16-17+ and everything falls into place, artest actually becomes a third option instead of leading our frickin team in shot attempts, and role players know their roles instead of having to do things they're not accustomed too. it comes to a point when a star has to accept his role, you've accepted it in the past years when yao has went down with an injury, accept without that happening this season. we need you, artest and yao playing at a high level just to advance. get aggressive, you and yao take command of the team, and everything will fall into place. that's it. thanks.
Dear Tracy, All I am asking for is some effort. Effort on defense, run the floor, and execute the offense as the coach wants you to. JUST TRY!! Play for the team, even if you fail, your effort will be respected. Please stop teasing us with your flashes of brilliance, I would rather have a workman's effort than a flashy, contested three that burns the net. Come on Tmac, the window is closing on your chance to do something in the playoffs.
