    Tycoonchip,

I don't believe the knees are a question mark any longer. He played in all 53 games before he missed the last 2 months of last year with an eye injury. Prior to that, he played in 79 games the year before & 82 games the year before that. All, while averaging about 33-34mpg, 21+ppg, 9+rpg, & 1+bpg. I'd say his knees are 100% healed. If some form of this deal could be pulled off, we'd be sitting pretty & possibly the envy of the league.

    KingStevo10,

Interesting proposal, but I'm not sure Phoenix would be willing to trade Barbosa unless they received another PG back. They've been very reluctant to trade him in the past & Nash isn't getting any younger.

I also believe we'd have no choice but to give up Battier to get Portland in on the deal. They're reportedly real high on Battier & there's no way I can see them settling for Cook & Barbosa in this case. But, stranger things have happened (see Pau Gasol trade).

I agree, but it's fun to speculate anyway. Just pretend to be Mark Cuban with a little more common sense. ;)

You might be right, but if they manage to sign Josh Childress, which should put them right at or just above the Luxury Tax threshold, & we offer $3.8 million to Sessions, they might just decide to let him walk in order to avoid the tax. That still leaves them with Ridnour & Brandon jennings.

I like this comparison. If only it could come true.

Are you sure you'd want to read through a month's worth of trade ideas? I'm thinking a weekly trade thread might be a bit more manageable. :)

By the way, I'm no trademaster. All I ever do is throw food for thought out there of which, nothing has ever come true. But, I'm not going to let a little detail like that slow me down. Thanks for the compliment, none the less. :D

ESPN Chris B. Portland offers Milsap 4 year 32 mill. What does this do if anything for Rockets in making a deal?

I love Scola's hustle & energy, but in my opinion, he'd be a great 6th man coming off the bench. Stoudemire would be a huge upgrade at PF for us & Przybilla would be a very adequate center until Yao comes back. Once Yao comes back, Przybilla becomes an exceptional backup for us.

Also, keep in mind that Sessions is only 23 years old & still has a lot of upside as well.

    TRADES: Suns to keep Stoudemire
    Amare Stoudemire | Suns
The Arizona Republic reports the Suns pushed back a meeting with Amare Stoudemire because the front office was in Orlando talking with Grant Hill. They expected to tell Stoudemire that they are keeping him in their plans for the coming season.

It should definitely help grease the wheels for a trade.

Would anyone do: T-Mac for Larry Hughes, Jared Jefferies and future draft pick?

This works under ESPN trade Machine. Hughes and T-Mac are large expiring contracts. Hughes is similar to T-Mac. Jefferies has a 2-yr deal so we could get a draft pick for taking on his salary. Jefferies can masquerade as a center at 6'11 and he's versatile enough to play 2-4 also. That trade has the potential to help us out in the long-term and short term.
