I know a little here and there about UFC. some friends i have hung out with the last year or so are really into.

anyways i have heard the name mike swick. never realised that i went to school with him. he is a year older then me. i saw that dude get his butt kicked a few times in middle school.

he is actually from brenham, tx. for whatever reason he says his hometown is houston.

ill be rooting for him from now on. he just seemed like normal kid when i think about it in school. i guess thats what a lot of training gets you. (turns you into a bad*ss)

Human Cockfighting huh? hmmm, well considering it is half naked sweaty men rolling around on the floor and getting in weird positions, I would call it the same.

there aren't, and never will be, any more stacked cards now that pride has officially crumbled. dana white would never spend the money to put together a card like any of the shockwaves, bushido the tournament, total elimination 2005, pride 25, 26, the list goes on. as long as dana white is running the show, i guarantee you'll never see cards like that again.

Since coming to the UFC, cro cop had never seem to have the fire that used to drove him. I really think that all the years and wars in K-1 took its toll.

I actually think fighting in K-1 is more damaging to a fighter's long term career because most literally take a ton of beating wither till the end of getting knocked out. In the UFC at least you sometimes get tapped out by an arm bar a minute into the fight without even breaking a sweat.

Plus, Cro Cop was still mentally scarred from the Gonzaga head kick.

Anybody plans to watch this season's The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV? I am glad it comes on Wednesday this season so it won't be conflicted with the Rockets Games on Thursdays. Unless of course, the Rockets have many Wednesday games this season.

wow, great materials on your website. Thaks for sharing. I've seen also the first MMA, it was nasty, sumo wrester's, boxer, and jujitsu won. and you have to fight even though you dislocated something in your body due to previuos fights.

i like the way the MMA is set now. i like st pierre, bj penn, and of course the natural.

Yeah some of those classic early UFC fights are the bomb. I'll be submitting some of those fights gradually for those new fans that have never seen them. It's a totally different world today though .... Royce Gracie wouldn't be able to do now what he did then even in his weight class, gi or no gi.

UFC 76 is a pretty nice card too, except for Liddell vs. Jardine. Somehow I can't get interested in this one. I am looking forward to Shogun and Forrest Griffin too.
