Now we're talkin' kolaches. One of our kids lives in Dallas (poor thing) and back before the Plague, we'd drive up there from time to time. Always stop in West for kolaches, both ways.
I have a friend from West he says the people that don't know any better go to the one on I35 but the locals go to the one in town.

Klobasnicky were actually invented by a Czech in the Central-Texas town of West. Nobody in central Texas will call them Kolaches. That's pretty much the chain store name for them. Rest In Peace Cray Kolache Lady.
Not a big fan of kolaches, maybe it's the ones I have eaten but the dough usually leaves me wanting, it's just blah. Not saying it needs to be sweet but at least have some flavor. I am almost close to Snook but not going there for a Kolache. Any place in the Bryan/College station area/
