SHUT THE HELL UP YOU STUPID TROLL...DAMN YOU ARE SO ANNOYING AND I REALLY CAN'T STAND YOUR CONSTANT BS.
24 in the AP. 27 in coaches poll. 15 in the RPI. The coaches poll is a joke. Richmond & UTEP before Baylor? Their SoS is terrible. In fact, UTEP's RPI ranking is 53. EDIT: Baylor @ A&M multiple overtime thriller from 2008 is on ESPN classic right now. I was at that game
USA today/ESPN poll is ridiculous..A&M is still ranked and we drop out for freaking UTEP? what the f..I want us to annilihate A&M on Weds..Would absolutely love that.
I was unable to make the trip, so I had to find a feed on my computer, which was basically the feed to the screen at A&M's arena. I was able to go to Ferrell to welcome them back later on the night. It was great.
Whats the bet? You guys gonna post yourselves dressed girls or what? Maybe y'all can rep every Aggie on board? Donate to the tip jar in the name of Texas A&M University?
There's just so much size for Baylor, and that's another game where an offensive rebound on a late missed free throw proved huge. A&M's a tough, physical team, and in the second half, when they want to clamp down on you defensively, they're usually damn good at it (and Sloan can make enough things happen on the other end). But the Bears have so much size that they got enough second chances - and eventually, good shots (and fouls) came. 40-29 on the glass against A&M... that's freakin' impressive as hell. Guards are inconsistent, but when they're on, they're second-best team in the conference to Kansas, imo. I thought Fred Ellis gave some very nice minutes too... obviously the three was big, but he had a couple offensive rebounds that were all on length that most wings don't have. Those were big.
Up 10 with 11 minutes left AND in the double bonus on the home court... ...and the farmers still come back to make it close. You're cutting it too close Scott. Draw up a better play than having Tweety attack with 3 ticks left.
Scott was bailed out by even worse coaching by Turgeon down the stretch. Taking a time out in between freethrows so we couldn't advance the ball and deciding to just have Dash Harris dribble off 8-10 seconds before giving it to Sloan who jacks up a contested three was just plain awful coaching. Whatever happened to going for a quick 2 and then fouling/trying to get a steal with Baylor out of time outs? Or even a drive to the basket and then kick out to an open 3 point shooter? Great game nonetheless. This Baylor team is really good. It was really unfortunate to see some lack of class displayed again by the fans though, holding up signs like "Hey Aggies, Break a leg" poking fun at Derrick Roland's tragic injury earlier this season. This is becoming a great rivalry, no doubt about it, but I just wish it would be more like the A&M-UT rivalry in football (respectful) as opposed to the A&M-Tech rivalry (tech fans are the most classless pieces of crap I've ever seen).
which one of the aggies coaches moonlights as an acting coach? i haven't seen that much flopping since [insert random nba game from last night].
Wasn't happy with the result yesterday, but I am satisfied with a season split against the Bears because you guys really have a lot of talent on that team. I have to admit though, Lace Dunn has one of the softest shots I've ever seen. Never seen a guy able to get such soft bounces off the rim to go in. Must be nice to have someone that can actually hit an outside shot on a semi-consistent basis. As for your last comment, I think you are probably talking more about one person because I don't know anyone else that really comes in here trying to ruin your thread.
You know exactly who I am talking about. Dude is the biggest troll around. I'm sure he will come with some stupid post soon enough.
Hi there! Congratulations on getting a split. I have to hand it to you, you won your biggest game of the year! Barely, of course, but a win is still a win, and I guess you deserve some credit for that. As I said last time, this was a MUST WIN game for Baylor, and they played like it mattered. Some thoughts... 1. Weak crowd. Good thing we were there to help you out. 2. Classless fans as usual. The guy a few posts back who comapred Baylor to Texas Tech was absolutely spot on. I wonder why that is? 3. Baylor has the talent to win the Big 12. You won't ever do it, because despite of all the talent, Coach Drew still has you in 4th place with the best team you have probably ever had before. This has to be maddening to Bear fans. I won't say that you deserve better, because you really don't, but I do know what it is like to watch a relatively poorly coached team underachieve their talent level. We fired that guy. His name was Fran. Congrats again on a well played game. I'll check back from time to time! Your friend, -Hank the Cowdog
Sweet victory last night to get the split. I think it was a great showing last night, if I saw correctly, a near sellout. Three tough games down the stretch with OU, TT, and UT.
