I saw Jones a little last season (I'm a hard-core NBA guy who normally doesn't watch much college b-ball) and I didn't see the heart, effort and passion Miller showed tonight.
If there ** Baylor 7th in the rankings and rising Perry Jones returns tonight. The game will be televised on FSN and ESPN3.com.
He's got a long way to go but I wouldn't rule it out yet. Wouldn't shock me if he was throwing up 20/10s and 30/10s later in the season.
His natural position is most likely the SF position. He dislikes playing the post and is athletic/long enough to be a SF in the NBA imo.. If he bulks up, he would be awesome as a PF though
Yeah tough to do what KD did in college he dominated his whole freshman year. One of best freshman seasons I have ever watched along with Michael Beasley.
Interesting. I also followed Beasley very closely. Seemed like every K-State game that year was on TV in Houston. Even during the week. I've never followed a player in college like KD his year at UT. It was total immersion. He became my favorite basketball player while in college.
He doesn't need to bulk up; just add about 15 lbs on his long frame over the next 4-5 years and he'll match KG.
Perry Jones showed why he would have went second in the draft. He has star written all over him. What I like most is the difference one year makes. He is more animated on the court. You can tell he worked hard this summer and his game is more fine-tuned as a result.

Sunday's game at Northwestern (which is a legit test even though NW is unranked) is on BTN at 3:00 p.m. I'll watch considering the weak NFL games that are on locally.
Absolute shellacking of a then undefeated Northwestern on the road today 69-41. I expect BU to be in the top 5 tomorrow. Our defense was amazing today, it looked liked NW was playing with fear the whole game.
Wow what a win! I love this team. Pierre Jackson's block at the end was awesome and Perry put the team on his back
