I saw Cuse practice last week. Right now they're better than Baylor. Don't think that will be case in March. BU has Final Four potential.

Baylor has best collection of tall athletes in U.S. Two future lottery picks in Perry Jones and Quincy Miller. Great length for the zone.

I was very impressed with Miller's effort, intensity and communication skills. He carries himself like a pro. No ill effects from ACL.

Guards are the big question but these guys don't need to be great. They just need to not suck. I think they're good enough.

My guess is Drew will start with backcourt of Pierre Jackson (Juco All American) and BC transfer Brady Heslip. Walton first off the bench.

One wild card is freshman Deuce Bello. Easily most talented guard. I think he's a pro. But is he ready for prime time?

More preseason love for #Baylor as Bears are No. 10 on Rivals.com's Preseason Top 32. #SicEm AP poll comes out Friday

Kinda Baylor Basketball, but not really.

NBA exhibition game at Baylor, @ Ferrell Center, December 1st

Featuring: Kevin Durant, LaMarcus Aldridge, Josh Howard, John Wall, Jason Terry, Tracy McGrady and others.

Word is spreading fast around campus, and tickets are pretty cheap. I'm definitely gonna go.

Baylor has 3 guys around 6'10" that can bring the ball up the court (Both Jones' and Miller).

The first half was meh. Too many turnovers.

The second half was much better. We cleaned it up and a few players including Heslip and Miller got hot. Miller showed flashes of Mcgrady in him. Silky smooth with great footwork. Our depth is through the roof. I can't wait to see Perry Jones and Miller play together.

It's clear as day that Perry Jones made the right decision to return. I wouldn't be surprised if Baylor is the #1 or #2 seed come March

You guys are clearly the best team in the Big 12. This is an off-year for KU so there is nobody to mount much of a serious challenge.

Confession: I'm basing this from watching KU/UK and bits and pieces SDSU/Baylor yesterday. First time in 15 years I've paid attention to college BB this early in the season.

I agree they are definitely the most talented team in the Big 12, but it remains to be seen how well they gel. I agree with Seth Davis in that earlier tweet that they could be scary good come March if they do truly gel.

I love my Ags, and we do have some depth this year, but I am very surprised that the Big 12 coaches voted A&M and KU the preseason favorites to win the conference. Maybe that has to do with other coaches not liking Scott Drew, but I do think that Baylor should be the odds on favorite. Was very impressed with Perry last season and usually players make big strides b/w their Freshmen and Soph years. Haven't seen a lot of Miller, but from the highlights of 1 game, he definitely looks like a future star.

Shows how much attention I've been paying. Didn't even consider A&M.

When Perry Jones finally gets on the floor with Quincy Miller, it will be scary for the rest of the Big 12. IMO, this squad is a legit PG away from being up there with UK and UNC.

Quincy Jones is the real deal. He has a chance to be an NBA superstar. For a guy like him to display floor vision and passing ability this early in his freshman season, it's natural for him. Tonight, he is relentlessly aggressive on the offensive end both posting up and attacking the rim AND he's hitting the glass.

Too bad LJ Rose isn't coming until next season.

And I can't figure out who I like better between Miller and Jones. I'm leaning towards Miller. The guy plays with heart.

I think our best 5 is:

    Perry Jones
    Quincy Acy
    Quincy Miller
    Brady Heslip
    Pierre Jackson
