Lace arrested (apparently for domestic violence), suspended indefinitely. Sorry guys. http://twitter.com/goodmanonfox
am i missing it entirely? where do you see that on his twitter account? EDIT: Here's USA Today story. Not much there yet...I'll check with guys who may know. http://content.usatoday.com/communi...us-dunn-suspended-indefinitely-after-arrest/1 Baylor's men's basketball team took a hit on Tuesday with the announcement that LaceDarius Dunn, a senior guard that was closing in on the Big 12 scoring record, was suspended indefinitely from the team after being arrested in Waco, Texas. "LaceDarius Dunn has been indefinitely suspended from all team activities," Drew said. The release said that Baylor is still gathering all the facts surrounding the case and is cooperating with authorities. There is still no word on what Dunn was arrested for, but stay tuned to Campus Rivalry for the latest.
well this sounds awful: http://twitter.com/lukewinn According to Waco police, Baylor's LaceDarius Dunn "caused serious bodily injury" to his gf on 9/27, and turned himself in today. less than 20 seconds ago via TweetDeck BREAKING: Baylor's LaceDarius Dunn has been charged w/ aggravated assault / family violence against his gf, which is a 2nd degree felony.
Sorry, got my Twitter accounts mixed up. The domestic violence details are from Gary Parrish. http://twitter.com/garyparrishcbs
Chris Level, the Tech beat guy for Rivals (and a very good reporter), says on his Twitter that a source told him the girl had a broken jaw. Obviously I really enjoy Baylor hoops and hope it's not true, but... http://twitter.com/ChrisLevel
so what typically happens in these scenarios? i'm having flashbacks to Lawrence Phillips, but I can't remember how long he was suspended for throwing his girlfriend down the stairs.
ya this is a huge blow to another promising season. maybe we can get him back by conference play but its looking unlikely.
Just a terrible story all the way around. Feel bad for all you Baylor fans (I was actually pretty damn excited to watch them this year, more so than the Horns), and of course I hope the girl is ok.
