Interesting in the video he mentions UT & OU but not Baylor. This guy has depraved talent. What a complete freak. I'm usually cautious about projecting HS highlights but this guy is every bit as unique as LeBron was, if not more.
This signing leaves Cameron Ridley as a battle between A&M and Texas. I think both Ridley and Austin are going to be major impact players at the center position and are going to have some great battles in college.
Of course this is assuming Perry Jones isn't one and done. Maybe this will give him incentive to stay in school.
The ONLY way Perry Jones is not one and done is a lockout situation that makes him decide to stay one more year. Enjoy him while you can.
Jones would have to stay two years to be able to play with Austin unless Austin graduates early. Austin would have a better chance teaming up with Quincy Miller or Lebryan Nash if we got either of them which is a strong possibility right now for both.
I don't have anything personal against Baylor b-ball but why all of a sudden are all these top-rated players going to a program with no tradition and one coming off a major scandal just a few years ago.Luckily for the rest of us Drew can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag.
