Hey guys - just a heads up, but if Baylor can beat St. Mary's, I have a pair of lower level tickets for the regional final game if anyone would need a couple of extras. I'm going on Friday, but will be out of town on Sunday, and the strip is good for both. Not looking to make a profit, would just like them to find a good home. Face for each is $90+ charges for all three games combined, so the unofficial face for Sunday would be about $65 for the pair. If anyone's interested, email me through the board.

Congrats again on the win today - making me look very good on my Baylor to the Final Four pick. :) Hopefully my Tigers can keep it going for the Big 12 tomorrow...

LOL at Hank the Mouth Breathin', Knuckle Draggin' Aggy.

There are no "easy" teams in the NCAA brotha. You'll find out tomorrow against a wounded Purdue team.

See you in H-town if y'all make it.

It is quite likely that Baylor and A&M will go to Houston and lose in the Sweet 16. A&M will probably face Duke. Not good for the Ags. Baylor gets St, Mary's. They are the little engine that could, have a good big man to combat Lomers and very good perimeter defense. That should be a great game.

I wouldn't be overly confident about that. Duke, Cal, Purdue, Texas A&M and St. Mary's still have something to say about that.

None of those teams are going to be a gimme for Baylor.

I just love seeing Baylor fan acting as though Baylor were Kentucky. They aren't. Kentucky is the (IMO) best team in the country. Baylor is one of many good teams. Baylor is not just going to cakewalk into Indy.

Similar to Tech fan, Baylor fan has trouble handling sudden success after years of misery

I'm hoping that a gang of Baylor fans show up on Friday. 5 of us are going.

We should have a legitimate home court advantage against St Mary's.

    K. The only catch is, I have to leave Houston by 10 or 11 Saturday morning, so we'd need to do the exchange at/after the game on Friday or mid-morning on Saturday. (obviously not time to mail them) Or I might could leave them with my roommate. But yeah, email me closer to Friday when you're sure and we can figure something out.

By the way, if any of you Baylor guys haven't bought tickets yet, definitely need to do it in the next 4-5 hours before the Ags win their game. Hoping the Bears outnumber the Ags for this, especially since you know the Ags will be cheering for the underdog...

Cool, sounds good. I should be around that side of town for at least half the day Friday. I live on Kirby like two minutes from the stadium.

Agreed completely. I've been graduated for quite some time...but I can't imagine waking up as a student on a Thursday morning where my university's hoops team is playing a Tourney game. I'm thinking that would likely have involved a Gut Pak from Vitek's. Or a cajun burger from the now closed Big Daddy's. I did end up watching with my 10 year old, Major and Groogrux, though...and that was a lot of fun.

I've never felt so distracted from the rest of the Tourney as I do this time. I can't say I'm ENJOYING watching these Baylor games, but I sure am enjoying the results. It's just too freaking tense during the games.

I'll be at the game (hopefully games) this weekend at Reliant flinging my green and gold afar! :) I had to drop by to say, "Sic 'Em!"

Glad to see you back! :)

We're going to catch happy hour somewhere on Friday. I messaged you about possibly joining us.

    Edit: Anyone else interested?

"Getting ready for the sweet sixteen and aggy gets sent home by an inferior team.

I feel fine, thanks for asking.

Here's the thing...telling me we were beaten by a higher seeded "inferior" Big 10 team that only lost 5 times all year tells me all I need to know about how you secretly feel about TAMU basketball. We took them to overtime and literally did not hit a single outside shot after the first half. Hell, we had no business winning that game, yet as usual, we nearly did.

It's called "coaching". You should get some of it!

If you win your next game, you'll get hacked to death by Duke. If you don't win your next game, you will be known as the team who choked away the Elite 8 by losing at home to Cinderella. There is no downside here. Baylor is going to get embarassed either way and it's going to happen at home in front of friends and family. I'll be looking forward to the excuses and the carnage.

    An honest question...

If SHSU can outcoach you, which I think clearly happened, how do you think you're going to fair against Coach K in a tournament game?

Thanks for the concern, but I think I know the prescription for my pain. It's coming up in Houston later this week. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I'll check back from time to time...

I think it's just so cute that the the Aggies seem to now have a true, heated, 2-sided rivalry with a Texas school...and that that school is Baylor.
