Yep. and that went to their head. Total lack of effort, from everyone except Davis. Michigan was a very good, hot team...likely would have won anyway. But would have at least liked to see Aggies play hard, and they totally did not
So much of the game was decided much like the NC game was; Michigan was the aggressor and would not let the Aggies get any low post position at all. The same thing we did to the Heels. And I think not having anyone there to support the team was a factor vs how well the Maize and Blue showed out. Williams declared right after the game so he's gone, will be a 1st round pick for sure.
Agree, but where I saw the lack of effort was on the defensive end. Players standing around, not hustling to get out on their shooters, etc. Aggies scored about what you would expect, maybe even moreso given Michigan's defense...but gave up WAY too many points. Michigan came out hot and played great, but Aggies did NOTHING to change that momentum. Don't disagree, but if that was really much of a factor, they didn't have the temperament to win anyway. Right decision for him, but that he made it so quickly showed where his head was at.
