I'm really worried about the team. I like Turg and all, but every game I watch is further proof that he's no BCG. That old fat drunk really had a swagger to him. I'm really having trouble getting excited about the current players we have. There is no Sloan, no D-Ro, no BD, no Acie, no Chin, nobody. And just as I'm saying this, we drew a 5 second penalty coming out of a timeout. We're getting slaughtered by an awful BC team. Damn it's gonna be a long ass year.
People always think I hate Turgeon... Turgeon is a good coach and a good recruiter. They just don't realize how good BCG really was. He was an elite program-changing coach that could transform mediocre players into a force by giving them a purpose on the floor. BCG squeezed every ounce of talent out of his guys and made the opponent go through hell trying to win.
I don't really know that it is Turge's fault (other than recruiting), but we just don't have that one guy that can really break down the D and create a shot for other people. After watching yesterday's game, it is obvious that this team is only going to go as far as Dash takes it and unfortunately he has not developed like most expected he would. Too many bad decisions and his shooting has not improved. DL is going to be a beast and BJ/Middleton are going to be solid. Without that guy to get things going and create for those guys, it will probably be a waste. Also really missing that defensive intensity, which I believe can be fixed.
So we beat a ranked team ey? I have no clue what this team looks like this year. Can they make the tourney?
I think we are still iffy ... Good front court but not sure we will have that guy to take over when we need it There is definitely potential there though ... We'll just have to see how they come along by conference play

Decent win, but my goodness the Dash-BJ combo in the back court is going to cause me serious cardiovascular problems this year.
Dude was money today. The big 12 is shaping up to being a very tough conference. Six ranked teams if I'm not mistaken.
I think that, by the end of the season, you'll be saying the same about Kourtney Roberson. That guy is gonna be some kind of good.
If his confidence continues to grow you might be right. He still stands around at the 3 point line waiting sometimes, but the more his confidence grows, I think he will be that plauer we need. Hoping DL can get some of his mojo back and be a bit more assertive. That is a good 1-2 punch if he gets it going strong.
I have no idea what is up with David this season. He was absolute money last year. guaranteed bucket down low every time we go to him. He hustled, grabbed rebounds, dunked, passed, etc... Now it seems like he bought into the hype and he just drags his feet and has this entitled smirk on his face. I really hope he figures it out and goes back to his old self.
Well Confrence plat is almost here and I still dont know what to think about this team. Very worried about the PG turnovers and the offense still looks stagnant at times. Im predicting 9-7, but it could really go either way
All in all, I think the Aggies will be fine thanks to the hard nose defense they play and this seem to be the best FT shooting team in a while. They will def see better competition but w/ the consistent play of Middleton this year, and the scrappiness as a team I like the chances. I'm expecting Holmes to play better which he HAS to do now since we will be facing batter teams, he has to shoot the ball better and continue to play bigger then 5'11. A very deep team top to bottom, style of play not always fun to watch and seem to have more scoring droughts then i wanna see but when all else fail the defense seem to get wins, so im still expecting great defense! i can 11-5....
