Totally agree with you. We're going to need to contain E'Twaun Moore and Jajuan Johnson to win this game. Also, Middleton has definitely been hot as of late scoring in double digits in his last four games. We're gonna need him to keep it up. However, Walkup better find his shot, or else we're in trouble.
Walkup was not hitting a high shot percentage when we were beating OK State, etc. Walkup not being that good of a perimeter shooter is another reason why rebounding will be very important for A&M tomorrow.
sorry but walkup needs to be on the bench most of the game and be told not to shoot when he is out there. He's had a decent game or two but most of the time his shot has been awful throughout his career
Do you think Naji Hibbert is a better option right now? If Walkup is on the bench, it is going to be Hibbert unless you go big and have Turner at SF. Not a good move IMO. Hibbert has been pretty bad this year also and careless with the ball and not a good defender. At least with Walkup you get some defense and he has a way of coming away with the 50/50 balls.

the only way Nate has to get a lot of minutes is if we get in foul trouble as happened last game ... At that point you are right that he is a better option than naji as long as he isn't jacking up shots like he does at times ... I'd rather have naji in at that point
Let me clarify one thing. I think that Naji will develop into a good player and a real contributor. At this point though, he is playing like a freshman. He looks pretty lost at times and commits silly fouls. I, under no circumstances, want to see Naji getting lots of minutes in this tournament.
Ya, I definitely don't want to see Naji either. Like you said, I can see him becoming a good player for us, but it's too soon. 25% FG, 56% FT, and 18% from behind the arc just isn't going to cut it as we play these extremely skilled teams. The only situation I can see him playing is if we're killing or being killed, which I don't see either happening in the game today.
Anybody watching on MMOD today? For some reason, I don't have the button to switch to/from the High Quality feed. Did they remove it for some reason?
