deja vu.. everywhere with the damn freethrows

Seriously though, Sloan is a stud, Dash is a stud, BJ is plain awesome, and BD is playing like a man.

I can only imagine how this team would've looked if Elonu didn't opt to leave. WTF were you thinking, Junior!?

They have been calling a billion fouls on W. Va. as well. This, overall, has been a very poorly officiated ball game.

Turge is going to have some choice words for the team after this game. Nobody outside of Holmes has been able to make a shot in the last 10 minutes.

If we could have hit a normal shot percentage in the second half, this would be a VERY close game.

    Frustrating.

true, but those cheap 5-6 touch fouls that were called on us after Thuggins started barking like a maniac changed the momentum of the game and deflated our team. I know that Turg is known for his class and I love me some classy coaches, but sometimes you have to keep the refs in check or at least tell them to stop worshipping Huggins everytime he says something!

Our biggest problems were Sloan turning the ball over twice down the stretch that gave them 4 pts, a blown dunk, and crappy shooting in the middle of the second half.

The two turnovers by Sloan and the blown dunk were easily an 8 point turnaround (2 for the missed dunk and 2 for the W Va possession off the dunk and 4 pts off the Sloan turnovers that became fast breaks for W Va.)

    An 8 point turnaround in a 7 point game is...shall we say...significant.

We proved that we can play with a top 10 team...but we have to take care of the ball in order to beat them.

Hopefully Aggies pull this one out. Great week for them if they do.

... The most atrocious FT shooting I have ever seen at any level and they still pull it out in a neutral game against a top 25 team? Wow

They have to get that corrected or it is going to cost them big time. I don't mean they have to shoot 80% or anything, but at least get it to 65-70%

We would have beat West Virginia (a top 10 team) if it were not for the FT shooting. This season has a team with a lot of unknowns, but from what we saw over the weekend, it is very encouraging.

I'd miss free throws too if I was a college student having to spend Thanksgiving weekend away from home :p

Man, nice showing in the tourney. Not only put themselves in the Top 25, but all the way to #19 in the AP.

Just witnessed maybe the most intense reaction to an injury ever. Both teams crying.... weird and scary. Godspeed Roland.

Yeah his leg looked disgusting ... Can't believe FSN showed it as long as they did.

Unfotunately for us he was one of the guys we absolutely could not lose ... Our defense is really going to suffer especially in big 12 play

Yes...but we will see what our three good fish can do.

As an aside, I thought it was very telling that Turge and Sloan have stayed with D-Ro in Seattle until his family can get there.

The more time that goes by, the more I am impressed by the quality of human being that Turge is.

Pretty exciting finish against OU. It was surprising that OU was in position to win.

Sloan should have gotten 3 free throws. Oh well, I appreciate college officiating, its so much more honorable than the NBA's. Still not over the Texas loss... like how no one posted about it. Bad taste lingers.
