As somebody else recently posted in this thread, it sure seems like you enjoy trying to find something to complain about. This is silly.

The only thing sillier is Donald Sloan, Martellus Bennett, and whatever clown in the cadets thinking they can put their name in the draft. :D :p   yup said it

For some strange reason you don't think that Elonu has the potential to play in the league? A lot of people disagree with you.

Ziggy talks about Sloan as if he's some piece of $h!t..

if he works on his jumpshot a little and improve his court vision he'd be a very satisfactory NBA back up point guard.. a Kyle Lowry type with that strong bully build.. I don't get your bashing of all things aggie these days.. maybe it's because we let your hero BCG go?

Elonu has potential. When Jones threw his name in he had no shot. Carter no shot. Elonu no shot this year. Sloan no shot ever never ever never ever lolz never. Oh and umm, BCG recruited him so umm.

One of Carter or Sloan will eventually be on an NBA roster. Superstars? No. Starters? No. But one of them will be there.

How sour are your Gillispie brand grapes?

Elonu loss is a pretty serious blow IMO.

He is not NBA ready. D-League here he comes.

Very, very big loss for the Ags though. He was poised to have a monster senior season.

Elonu and Davis were ready to really establish consistency and dominance IMO. Now they probably start Lebeau who is raw and we lose size. Maybe Walkup starts and becomes a 3pt force/matchup problem for our opponents? Either way Elonu leaving single handedly changes the complexion of the team. For the first time in years we don't have a lengthy/nasty/deep front line.

I guess we will see what James Blasczyk can do. He is 7'0" and 235. He will be a sophomore. He was the 2008 defensive player of the year in his HS district. He didn't play last year. Hopefully Turge got him some seasoning and he will be ready to contribute.

What an awful decision for Elonu. I am usually one of the first people to say that these guys should go pro when they have a chance to, but to me this probably just about eliminates any chance he has of getting drafted. He may have been drafted next year with another good season.

I've heard from different sources that Junior doesn't really have a level head and can blow up at any time, and this decision falls right in line with someone that is not very level headed.

Hope it works out for him, but his prospects are not great. Hope we can manage next season without him, but it will be a huge loss.

You may be right. He may go into the stands and start eating everybody in sight.

Can someone fill me in on TAMU football? I haven't seen them play at all this year. I just look at the boxscores and read an article or two. I am not a big fan of the College Station coverage and am skeptical as to how knowledgeable the big city papers are when it comes to TAMU. I also stay away from their forums because of the standard college douches.

Has anyone seen them play this year? Are they in a true 3-4 defense? How does the offense look? Oline? Are they any good?

I haven't had a chance to see them yet either. I think it'll be hard to really judge A&M until they play Arkansas next week.

I'm hearing great things about your freshmen running back. Might be a stud. Also, the defense is supposed to be better.
