TAMU will probably have to take care of LSU to get ranked. They are getting no love in one of the polls, ESPN I think. TAMU will beat UT at home.
Normally it's a home and home split for A&M vs UT. I think this year will be different though since UT has become a great defensive team. That will allow them to win road games they normally shouldn't. I'm glad Joseph Jones is gone. The only guy that scares me is Josh Carter. He's be a nice guy for the Rockets to take in the 2nd round because he's a nice perimeter shooter with athleticism and size. He's an Adelman type of player. Then again, he might be a clone of Von Wafer.
I'm not sure if we will be ranked if we can beat LSU or not, but watching the team you can tell they are still trying to gel and get this group of players working together consistently. I'm really hoping by the time the conference schedule opens up, we will be ready to go and our season will ultimately hinge on Davis and Elonu playing well, not getting hurt, and not getting into foul trouble.
We are ranked 42 with 6 votes. So ya, probably won't be ranked after LSU either. Assuming we even win.
TAMU set the Big 12 record for FTs made tonight. They never missed. If you have been following the Aggies from last year you'll know this is HUGE.
Haha ... not having Dre on the floor helps alot with that FT%. Even so, the other guys have stepped it up in that area too.
I'm not sure why you would take the time to click on a thread about the Aggies just to post that...unless you are a complete loser.
Went to the TC to watch the Aggies play LSU. They looked really strong. Sloan, Davis and Elonu were all impressive.
I apologize. I didn't mean to put a question mark after The University of Texas. TU actually stands for The University. To everyone that addresses Texas as TU, I really appreciate the respect.
Since aggy wins and UT losses are your requirements for an excellent days, I take it you're on meds for the vast majority of life where that doesn't happen?
Were you there in time for the ending portion of the UT/MSU game? I heard the Aggie fans there were booing Texas. Like half and half.
Oh ya. I was def there for that. I was more excited about that matchup. I didn't really notice the booing, I wasn't planning on rooting for anyone but I was on the MSU bandwagon since they were the underdog and I thought their little fan section looked like my kinda fun.
I've never been so worried about a 14-1 team going into conference play, but there is a lot of uncertainty about this team. I'm going to hope for the best, but I have a bad feeling it could be a long conference season based on how we've played against mediocre competition. I sure hope I am wrong.
