If he keeps his play up we're gonna be screwed lol. I can see him demanding a full MLE contract if he puts up double digit points on good percentages this season.
I love his effort on defense and the effort to talk after blown defensive assignments. Means hes trying to do it the right way. I know hes been nicknamed the bayou bomber but I want to rename him the "Silent Assassin". He always puts up points but you never hear announcers really just gloat about him. Plus you never see him all hyped up or as a big trash talker or showing much emotion. Dude is a Silent Assassin.
Quitely shocking that Thornton played the most minutes tonight at 42+ minutes...wow! More then Harden on a career night. 16 points, 7 boards, 2 assist, 1 steal and only 1 T/OO with 4 - 3's Verrrry niacce.
Love the fit that Thornton has been for the team. Let's just hope he continues to hit his threes at a solid clip.
He's shooting at a ridiculous pace. But even if he regresses to the mean, he's still an amazing unexpected peice to the rotation primarily because of his surprising amount of hustle and offesnive savyness.
McHale and his idiotic loyalty to Brewer. The stupid thing is that once Tjones comes back Thorton will go back to the bench and will be behind Brewer in the rotation. That better not happen.
Anyone notice his body language when Harden would go ISO and miss him on open looks? He had a fantastic game tonight, and he's been a diamond in the rough, but idk it's just something I noticed for some reason..
Because he's not a good defensive player. But with D-mo out, everybody we could put out there is a bad defensive player. At least Thornton can stretch the floor on offense. When this team is fully healthy I still think there is a chance he could be on the end of the bench. Brewer is the question mark, if he doesn't step it up Thornton could end up ahead of him in the pecking order.
