This is life. Theres always somebody hating on you, I'm sure T-Mac don't let these kind of things get to him.
That Dallas game had a lot of other things you could point to before the game 7 lose: -What about Yao and Mac missing key free throws down the final minutes of game 5? -What about JVG getting out-coached with the smaller line-up and failing to adjust? -What about the referees screwing us in that same game 5 when they let Finley tap the ball back into play? Overall, we were outmatched in that series and I believe we caught Dallas off-guard in the first two games until Johnson adjusted. We had Ryan Bowen on Dirk and Ryan Bowen makes Chuck Hayes' offense look Kobe-esque. In the Utah series, I have no problem with T-Mac stepping up and saying it was all on him. After the loss, he stepped up and took the fall. If he had taken his words back after the loss and threw his teammates under the bus, then you could complain, but since he didn't people need to let it go. And once again, that series was not the fault of our superstars. At most, you can blame one loss on them, but lets not forget that in game 3 (I believe), the rest of the team had 11 POINTS! 11! Furthermore, that was the worst match-up for us because their two best players were at our two weakest positions!
exactly. yes ppl hated tmac for saying "it's on me," but when we lost, he said all the blame IS on him. he never said it was anybody else's fault. on TNT, he stepped up and said blame it on him.
t-mac deserves all the hate he gets. this guy complained about the "depth perception" at the TC for his shooting woes when he obviously sleepwalks during home games. newsflash t-mac: you're the only player on our team who shoots worse at home than on the road!
It can't be summarized better than this. Hating is bad for one's health. Constructive critism is good for Tmac's basketball health.
Totally agree too. Trust me. Sometimes I wish I can show Tmac this site so he can see some of the LOGICAL criticisms that is due-like shooting elbow jumpers 90% of the time instead of attacking the basket
