I say the team should strap him down and beat him profusely with bars of soap inside pillow cases. Just make sure he cant get his hands on any amo. Kelvin "Private Pile Of $hit" Cato
Right now Im disgusted that Cato hasnt been working his butt off to get in shape. Had he taken the entire summer and really trained hard, I would give the benefit of the doubt. I really think he has a lot of potential, but if hes not willing to put forth the effort, he is not worth the contract hes earning. I hope the best for him though. Come on Cato, prove us wrong.
Cato positives: 1. He's in preseason shape, which means he will probably get injured and we won't have to watch him play; 2. He and Rice are buddying up, which means Cato knows he is going to get injured and wants somebody to talk to on the bench in street clothes; 3. Cato's preseason shape will make it easier for Collier to look good in practice and win the starting job; Maybe that beer gut was his way of bulking up
From what I hear he has gained some weight, so maybe he does need some SUPPORT. Like a MANZIERRE !!! or a BRO !!! DaDakota
I posted this in another thread, but it's appropriate here too: According to the ESPN story: Cato, who signed a six-year, $42 million contract two years ago, also says he's ready to earn his salary: "I'm not going to be limited. I am going to give 110 percent this year. I'm trying to prove to a lot of people that say I don't deserve or that I got too much." Like most people who use this cliche, I don't think he knows this means 11 freaking percent.
He reports out of shape but here is what he told ESPN earlier this summer: "Truthfully, I'm about 90 percent. I still have a little pain in my (left) ankle every now and then," said Cato. "But for the most part I've lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of muscle. I've really focused on getting ready for the season." Which one is it MOFO? Looks like you were lying to ESPN...
Moe, didn't you read the other thread? I relented. The Rocks are going to win 110% of their games this year. Now, lighten up. We're just having fun here.
Geez I see how you might have thought that. But batting averages are not based on percentage points. They are based on decimal points. .345, .154, .396,... 110% obviously isn't meant to be taken literally.
