Lets Settle This... What Would YOU Do With Our Team Right Now

    1) we resigned basically everybody - got our team back from last season except Nene
    2) we are a top 6 team still, if not better cause we really number 1 :)
    3) we been in the playoffs every year since 2012
    4) this year, we barely got any money to spend on FAs
    5) the only tradable assets we technically have are Gordon and Capela - and barely anybody wants them
    6) we have 2 of the best point guards to ever play the game still
    7) this past season, our team had its best offensive rating (115.5) and defensive rating (110.7) since 2012
    8) we got new ownership thats only been around for 2 seasons

    what realistic change would you make to finally get our team over the last hump and into the finals? im genuinely curious what move(s) convinces you (even if you trade cp0). i keep reading posts like they got the 'answers'. so here's your chance. ready. go.

    Werent we a top 2 team not too long ago? And favorites to win the west or something last week? How about just maintaining that

    1)Philosophy change from the FO

    2)A coach that makes in game/series adjustments

    3) More offensive sets to help CP0 be more effective.

    4) Capela to develop an offense game outside of lobs

    1) stop the leaks
    2) end the PR bs media tour of Tad and Daryl , radio silence until a move is made
    3) extend MDA and if the season sucks fire him and let him get paid
    4) make sure I get something out of Shump
    If trading him with a first can not net a young wing (Oubre, Covington or Winslow) I sign him to a tradable contract
    5) hire Darren Erman
    6) find a backup center and some wing help no matter how

    There’s probably a reason why FO hasn’t made many moves. Why disrupt the flow of the team.
    Honestly we have Harden - there’s not much we need to do but roll the ball out there. He’s made a case for MVP the last 4 out of 5 seasons.

    Thats fair but I can see any of these teams having a chance to be just as good if not better. Which is not where we should be

    I'd ask that this faux-rule of 'threes and layups' be lifted so that it didn't limit players so much. I think it works, but not in the playoffs and the playoffs is the only thing that matters for a team of this quality. So make it a preference, not a rule.

    Seriously.. post up Harden 10 times a game. Dude can kill it from down there.

    Resign faried to minimum
    Sign and trade shump plus a first for covington

    These are the only bullets left that we have to upgrade this team that I can tell:

    1) take on bad contracts for mediocre talent assuming Tillman is willing to pay

    2) use Shump for salary matching purposes

    3) use all of our future picks (clips and lakers have exhausted their assets to make their moves). We still have this option should we choose to go all in and mortgage the future like they have.

    It’s possible for us to make a major move but only with these options I think. Not sure if DM is waiting for a major player to use all those picks at once for or if he’s willing to use them for small upgrades like RoCo or Iggy.
