what is your point here, that arenas has missed two seasons after this surgery, or mabye mcgrady just needed more rehab time.

That Arenas finally got down and dirty did the rehab, and has come back from arthoscopic surgery.

Sometimes, following the doctors advice is the right thing to do....glad it worked out.

you realize of course that it wasn't the REHAB that was the problem right? That in fact T-mac needed more surgery because the damage wasn't repaired!!

Dude, you are now ripping on t-mac for not being in shape - he's been freaking rehabing his Knee! The guy isn't back yet. The fact is - HE IS RUNNING SPRINTS BEFORE GAMES!

Why not take a second and say - hey, he's doing what he has to do. Why not give the guy one once of credit for once instead of taking everything he does with some sort of negative spin.

I mean, you are saying he would have been fine last year if he only did the rehab!???? Then why did he need the microfracture surgery?

You are saying he needs to get in basketball shape. Wait, I thought he was supposed to focus on rehabing the knee????

You say his helping Dorsey is a waste of time and he shouldn't do that because it's not helping.

This is why people think you're just a hater.

I don't realize that, not at all, I do realize there were varying opinions about how to fix the issue, and that most doctors thought rehab would be the best solution.

And we were talking about Arenas here not TMac....

t-mac already did his rehab, but its hard to rehab the knee and still be expected to play games during the season, at some point he had to just focus on getting into shape, and trying to play through the pain. The doctors didnt say if he kept rehabbing that it would be okay, they said if he kept playing on it that it would get better at some point, but that point wasnt moving fast enough for mcgrady. It was alsomt half way through the season, and micro surgery was always an option but it was his last option

My guess? He plays through the season in Houston and The Rockets let him go in the offseason.

On the other hand Bill has been saying Tracy is looking really well, etc... But I know you don't care. Blazers' guys are more realiable.

Yeah, very minor. It meant nothing to him. He just missed 2 seasons. But that's nothing.

When you rehab for 2 years... YES indeed

Whatever, let's just hope I am wrong and Tmac comes back strong, and focused and plays within the system.

Maybe as Lou says "He has matured".....

    We shall see......

    Here you go.

(He looks fine. There is no way to tell is someone is in shape by watching him take shots before a game. I don't think he has the option to alter his workout because he looks or feels tired. -- Jonathan)

Rockets: Gallinari + Curry + Blount + rights to Rubio

*Blazers absorbed LaFrentz's contract for two seasons to get Roy. Curry is the price that has to be paid.
*Rockets reduce team salary by around $5.8M. That gets them under the tax easily.

Knicks: McGrady + Wilkins + Dorsey

    * Knicks create $37M of cap space for 2010 free agency. Making Walsh's plan of signing two out of LeBron, Wade, and Bosh possible. McGrady's also a fallback if they are only able to sign one of those three.
    * If a contract year McGrady can get the Knicks to win it's a bonus. As the Jazz own the Knicks unprotected 2010 first round pick.

    T-Wolves: Landry + Taylor + Mobley + protected 2010 1st round pick

    * 80% of Mobley's contract is paid for by insurance. A pseudo-Te for Blount who's an expiring DNP.
    * Landry, Taylor, a 1st round pick, and salary dump for Rubio.

    Brooks, Lowry,
    Ariza, Budinger
    Gallinari, Battier, Cook
    Scola, Andersen, Pops
    Hayes, Curry, Yao

A variation of the above trade. Rockets reduce team salary by $4M in this one. Knicks would need to renounce the rights to Lee if they sign two max players next free agency. So they might give up Lee...

Rockets: Gallinari + Curry + Mobley + rights to Rubio

Knicks: McGrady + Blount + Cook

Minnesota: Lee + Taylor + protected 2010 1st round pick from Rockets

    Brooks, Lowry
    Ariza, Budinger, Mobley
    Gallinari, Battier,
    Scola, Landry, Dorsey, Pops
    Hayes, Curry, Andersen, Yao
