Well, won't having 15 players on our roster already make a difference? I'm not quite sure, which is why I'm asking. Would we have to release some of those guys? I guess it would help us clear up some cap and retain the 'player'(McGrady's spot) we like.
WHAT BEHAVIOR ISSUES!!! u act like we are talking about ron artest here or steven jackson. Seriously do you see this guy getting suspended or fined or anything. No he isnt a trouble maker. What CANCER was he last season unless u deem trying to play when you shouldnt be because you are excited about what your team can do!!.
sure he was in and out of the lineup but if you are tying to point something out about mcgrady that you feel he needs to work on, this is a lousy assumption. HE IS NOT A CANCER
Knote32, Only a Tracy apologist would predict that someone coming off microfracture surgery will be top 6 in the MVP voting this year.
Well the reason i said that was because its most likely that the 15 players we have on the team now won't be on here come February. I mean im sure a trade is bound to happen. I mean how many years straight have the Rockets been involved in a trade either it be a big or small one?
Wow top 6?? Hmmm I like McGrady but damn thats high... Lets see Kobe LeBron CP3 Wade Dwight Duncan (maybe) I mean thats 6 right there. And those 6 the media are on these guys nuts so idk. Tracy would have to ball out of control to be considered MVP consideration. I would even add Steve Nash to the list and im sure there are other guys that can be added.
I agree it's a pretty bold prediction for someone coming off microfracture surgery. Well that's what t_mac1 predicted.. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=4796386&postcount=283
Dude u weren't in on the bet with me and wekko. I brought up the MVP thing bc wekko didn't agree to the other bet options I put up, which were all stat level of play. I said the chances of him being top 6 MVP are slim and most likely I'm going to lose the bet.
I thought about KG but left him off the list considering Boston is LOADED with guys who guy be the #1 option.
Not really. Present an argument that I can't refute and you'll convince me. The problem is facts and logic generally work against McGrady apologists....which means their arguments are usually rife with idiocy.
Go back and look at older posts. It's kind of annoying continually repeating things to the same person.
Weren't you the one who was against a McGrady for Nash/Richardson trade because you felt that Aaron Brooks was already better than Steve Nash?
Aaron Brooks' value is better than Nash, no doubt, so I could see where he's coming from. Nash is aging. Fast. What is he... 35? Plus I'm guessing his salary is around 10mil. We're paying a 23 year old PG, who has sky high potential (Aaron Brooks) about 3ish mil. PLUS, with Yao out, there's no point in chasing after a player like him. We aren't contenders.
Eh, you could make the argument that Steve would be better experienced and more useful on championship-caliber teams. However, Aaron is quickly turning into a potential errr excuse me ---- perennial all-star in the NBA.
Ooohh I was talking about from the perspective of Houston... Not everybody else. Nash would insant-champ the Lakers/Celtics/Cleveland/Boston/etc etc. And okay Clyde Speaking of that Clydism... During the Dallas game, he called Marion a "perrenial all-star". I lol'ed.
