Really..... Ray Allen would have been great with us.....so would Eddie Jones. Lamar Odom is one of the easiest of the hardest to obtain.... Brent Barry would be great. But why would he leave Seattle? HEDO TURKOGLU WOULD BE GREAT. Either him or Lamar Odom. WE NEED TO GET ONE OF THEM somehow. Caron Butler is not leaving Miami...but if we could get him.......we would be too good!! BUT RODNEY ROGERS? Are you kidding? I haven't seen him make a 3 EVER. Lamar Odom...please come to Houston.
Sign Jason Kidd. Trade Tito Maddux for Tim Duncan. Trade Jason Collier for Kevin Garnett. Trade next year's 2nd round draft pick for Tracy McGrady. Line-up: Yao Duncan Garnett TMac Francis Bench: Kidd Mobley MoT Cato Rice Moochie EG IL: Nachbar Hawkins
Odom. Lamar helps Steve and Cuttino immensely as he is a guy good enough to be a primary ball handler. He can post if need be and he has played with legit post threats in Brand and at times Kandi so he knows how to deal with a big man too. Brind him here, light a Swizza and watch the titles come!
Eddie Griffin for Andrei Krelinko Though Eddie is higher pick than AK, AK is more versatile player and running for the six man of year. His week side block is among the best in league. His three point is as good (as bad) as Eddie.
I am absolutely, positively, convinced that the majority of the coaches in the NBA (if not all, with the exception of Rudy) would strangle our guards at mid court. Certainly most of the top college coaches would. Who would put up with the undisciplined, haphazard play, the poor decision making, the poor shot selection, the lazy passes, the playground antics. I know they are world class athletes capable of big numbers on any given night, BUT, they have the playmaking skills and court savvy of a ROCK! They would be the main problem, but our forwards aren't setting the world on fire either. Big Problem.
Everyone know who I want,SAR. This can be done by giving up Cat,Taylor and Griffin. The rockets would then have a more consistent offense, get from under taylor large contract and still be a better offensive team even though they would be giving up about 40 pts of offense and getting back 20. SAR is the perfect compliment other than Brand to a new offense. He can post, face the basket, gets fouled and rebounds well. Some may say he was a 3 when he was in the west.Either way, he's effective at both spots. The rockets can also probably get a a pick out of them.
I would like to see either Brent Barry or Eric Snow next year on the team. I would be willing to trade Cato and package him with Posey and a future pick which I hope might be enough to get Snow but probably not Barry. Unless the backcourt improves we won't be able to run an offense.
My experience is that most decisions made out of frustration, or just for the sake of making a decision are pretty much always regreted later.
This is hard for me to admit because last year I would have traded him for just about anyone. But, I don't know that we could replace Kelvin Cato. He has been extremely productive this year on a per minute basis. To me, any deal that involves Cato better return a good big man.
