That might be pushing it. You have to figure, Dwight and Deron will take up around 40 million of the58 million cap, then if we kept both Lee and Dragic, your looking at around 7-9 per year for Dragic and about 4-5 per for Lee. That puts us to 51-54 million with only 4 guys signed. So that would leave somewhere under 7 million for 11 guys. Even if they are all minimum guys were pushing it.

I think we can keep one of them, but not both. Lee would make more sense, because even though Dragic can play some 2, I would not want him out there for 30+ minutes there. Lee on the other hand can handle it because its his natural position. Plus all the open looks he would get with Deron and Dwight would be scary.

Ive given up on the idea of landing either Deron WIlliams or Dwight Howard ... One or both would be nice , just dont see it happening.

So to go in another direction .....

I've thought of a lot of scenario's and the one I keep returning to is Josh Smith and Demar Derozan.

Move Lowry , Martin and #14 to Toronto for #8 and Derozan + cap filler. That satisfies Toronto's need for replacing Derozan and solves their PG issues , likely have to take back Calderon as the filler and your backup pg.

Scola , Morris and 16 to Atlanta for Smith.

    Resign Dragic.

Match reasonable any reasonable offer to C.Lee (MLE money).

Bring back Camby and exercise the option on Dalembert.

    Dragic / Calderon
    Derozan / Lee
    Parsons / Budinger
    Smith /Dmo / Patterson
Camby / Dalembert / Greg Smith

Its not Howard & Deron .... but I think they get significantly better , and you still have the #8 pick to toy with .... Just not sure who will be there when that pick rolls around.

    Thoughts ?!!!??

    First I would Re-Sign Dragic
Second go after JaVale McGee( Fairly Young Center, who can Learn alot under a good Big Man Coach,he has the tools nad someone like McHale, someone would be on his ass that how he would gain maturity. Prob offer him a big contract, hey you cant teach Size and Camby wont be around forever or Dalembert.)
Third Get Kris Humphries if he decides to leave Brooklyn(if he goes back Offer something like Scola,Morris for him.Humphries can be a top PF)
Fourth draft Kendall Marshal at 14 to backup Dragic. (He may not be able to score but he can pass the ball, and play defense, okay not sure about the D,but he'll learn.)
Fifth draft Tyler Zeller or Meyers at 16 to back up McGee and Camby

    Free Agents to go after:
    McGee^^^(look above)
    Humphries^^^
    Dragic^^^

Okay now since the PG/PF/C position would be alright.

We would either need to trade for a SG and SF or get two of the FA Class.
(I personally find Martin useless just dont like his ame and attitude I would throw him in with Scola for a Humphries deal just cause I dont care lol)

Possibly trade both Lowry and Martin, fillers to PHI for something like Lou Williams and Iggy.

Well if that was to go done are SF/SG issue would be great and solved.

(Pip dream SG would be Harden or Gordon)

Anyways finished lineup if I was to do all my moves.

    Dragic*/Kendall Marshall
    Lou*/Lee/Bud
    Iggy*/D-League player
    Humphries*/Patterson
    McGee*/Camby/Zeller or Leonard

    *-My First Choice to start

My main objective as a GM was to mainly trade Scola,Martin,Lowry. Then get FA's McGee,Dragic,Humphries. and most important I think keep our First Round Picks.

Honestly I dont know if its realistically possible, but /shrug/ its whatever.

    Dragic*/Kendall Marshall
    Lou*/Lee/Bud
    Iggy*/D-League player
    Humphries*/Patterson
    McGee*/Camby/Zeller or Leonard

    ^^^

With that Lineup, a full training camp, and 82 game season, I can see that team being anywhere between 8-5 seed in the playoffs.

Itll just depend on management and coaching staff if they let the young players develop (McGee,Zeller/Leonard,Lou,Dragic) its a young team but instead of tanking this seems like a nice way to have a good foundation of players.

so any thoughts? is it plausible? or realistic?

oh **** I forgot we have Parson on the team. lol

    Dragic*/Kendall Marshall
    Lou*/Lee/Bud
    Iggy*/Parsons
    Humphries*/Patterson
    McGee*/Camby/Zeller or Leonard

    Strengths of the team-
    Starting Five can score decently
    Bigs
    Defense(Prob strongest strength)
    Good foundation

    Weakness-
    Second unit hardly any scoring
    Youth
Maybe McGee(lol but he is an essential player)
