Let's play ball. (pick up game)

I got bored, so here goes a snippet.


The first people to get there was Sonny, DVauthrin, Rockets Red Glare, and Rocketeer, and his people.


I was about twenty minutes late, but who cares.


I started out allright. I went 2-3.

I hit an outside shot. If i have my outside shot, whcih is never, I am doing pretty damn good. I missed an open lay up.


I tried to undercut somebody which wasnt nice.

 

Let me retell you guys how it went.


The first game was me, sonny, rocketeer, rockets red glare, and some other guy.

It was like this. The other guy was basically our point guard. The guy thinks hes Allen Iverson or Steve Francis or some lead guard.

So I had to play shooting. Kam, shooting guard? I can't shoot worth crap. Imma say Rocketeer was our small forward, Sonny was our 4, and RRG played in the center spot. We played agaisnt RRG's friend and DVauthrin and some other guys that were there.

Ya know, I think we were the only people in the gym. Nobody was there, except people playing tennis, or raquet ball or weight lifting.

Anyhoo, we won a few games. I think we won our first two, and lost the next game.

Red, and a friend of his, and AntiSonic finally made it. Not too shabby.

Goophers also made it in.

Good meeting him for the first time. I think i've met everybody else.

DVauthrin hit the game winning shot. I told him to shoot it, be a hero. He jacked it up, and it went in. I am like damn, What did I do that for?

And then in the final game, he does the same damn thing.

There was this tall mofo out there. Some tall white dude, say a bout 6' 3'' 6' 4''. He wasn't that great at all, but he had height.
He dunked it when they were shooting around. So I mocked him by trying to dunk it too. I somewhat made it. Or missed it?

He was on a break away, cause he was cherry picking, and I caught up to him, and I was going to attempt to block his shot. I sorta fouled him but not really, and he missed the lay up. He got the rebound, and tried to dunk it again, but he missed the dunk.

He was scared of lil o Kam getting the block on him.

I had only one block during the entire damn day. I had a few steals which wasn't too bad.

I had my pocket picked by this short little guy, and he went to lay it up, so I fouled him. I could have injured him. I just grabbed in mid air.

This other guy rammed his shoulder into me, it wa on accident though.

The ball also hit my in the chin when somebody jacked up an airball. That sucked ass. I had a headache the rest of the night.

I blew a few layups.

There was this guy that was also wearing red shorts, and when he went up for a rebound, my team mates thought it was me. Nice going, Mensas.

That is about all I can remember I think.

It was fun. We should have done this earlier in the summer if I knew the gym was gonna be empty.


Also, when I got there, the lady at the counter thought i was with another group. That was messed up.


I didn't play in the exact first game.

 

I will say yes.

Sorta, but I was wondering when the next game was going to be.

we usually played atleast ONCE during the sumemrtime.

I only recall playing once this year.
