I never see any American media call him "little giant", so why bother to pick a new one since the old one was not even used ?
How about Gi-Normous. He's so freaking huge that every NBA player looks like little lilliputians standing next to him.
Because Chinese culture dictates that your family is first, hence last name first, first name last. Asian cultures/traditions differ from ours, but you must respect his. If Western Culture honored family as much as Asian Cultures, we'd have less babies having babies. Enough culture talk. I want to see Yao as fired up as he was when he was screaming that he can't be stopped. That makes my blood boil with pleasure.
LOL ... some of new Yao nicks circulating on Chinese websites: Pangu (the epoch-making legend in ancient Chinese mythology) Yaofucius (a reference to Confucius) Yao King (in a typical costume worn by the nobles in ancient China) Yao "Lao Da" (Lao Da, aka No. 1, is a lead gangster character played by Chow Yun Fat) Shoryuken (Rising Dragon Fist in Japanese video game "Street Fighter")
